hi i'm looking into doing a 1979 280z sbc swap. not sure what motor yet would like for it to produce round 350-400 hp, ls1 are an lt1 would be nice but the lt1 wouldnt get me my 350hp unless there was more done to it. so what motor is still up in the air but i know i want a manual transmission and a t56 seems like a good canidate. what are some recomendations on the rear end to use? i have alot of ideas going through my head and looking through the forum and reading more and more. appreciate all the help and i'm sure there will be more and more questions as it goes.

First of all you're on the right site to find your answers. I take it you made a typo and mean 79 280ZX as the car you have. Keep searching and reading. Alot of your answers are in this forum..http://forums.hybrid...isplay.php?f=93

After you've done your homework come back with specific questions and we will help you..
