  1. Pat I would love to buy one of your rear sump oil pans. Send you a message.
  2. Sorry Matt, I forget to mention that my ECU will not communicate with my computer now. I am completely locked out of all of my tables (VE,AFR,Spark, etc.). I was able to load noodles' map, but now can not change any of the values (stuck in offline mode). The car does start and run though; I just can't change any values now. I can reflash the computer to get it communicate, but it goes right back to offline mode as soon as that map is loaded. On a brighter note, you guys are amazing. How do you respond to all these emails so quickly? Oh, did I mention that I was using Tunerstudio--Megatune does the same thing though.
  3. Ok, got the car running and idling using noodles' map (from the map thread). Now, I can't get into the VE, AFR maps to lean out the fuel mixture (it is running super rich). He is running a MSII v2.88 and mine is a v2.89? Is there a way to fix this issue?
  4. Got those issues fixed. Thanks guys! However, the car now struggles to start. It seems to start best when it's the first try of the day. It suddenly floods, I clear the flood and it cranks again. It will start and run for a few seconds, then die (so close). I think that's the warm up enrichment? I tried to post my cranking pulse, ase and wue; I failed. Thanks again! Also, can you settle an argument between my friend and I. I am running EDIS in limp mode just to get the car started. He seems to think we should make megasquirt read fuel only (he seems to think that's why the car is flooding). He says because the computer is set up to run EDIS and it's disconnected, it will not start properly. I say it doesn't make a difference right now. My take on it was that even if the computer was set up for EDIS, it is not necessary that you use it. Right now it's like we're only using the fuel side of MS. It would be like a distributor (EDIS) stuck at 10 degrees. To me that's what would happen if MS lost the signal anyway. I guess my question is, does it matter (for starting purposes) if I run it to read fuel only or not. Does that make sense?
  5. Hi, I'm totally new to Megasquirt. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a few problems i'm having. The first problem is that the Megasquirt is saying the voltage is too low for burning? The second problems is that the megasquirt will not run the fuel pump. The third problem is whenever the car does decide to fire, it quickly stumbles and a ball of fire comes out of the intake. The fourth problm is no matter what TPS I use, it will not calibrate. I am running a stock L28, with an N42 head, 240sx throttle body, 250cc injectors and compression is stock. I am running the MSII v3.57 (w/2.89) set up to run FORD EDIS. The car is non-turbo.
