  1. better get a greddy head gasket
  2. its a long shot but here go's. how is the clutch line? I have had the clutch line swell when you pump the clutch but i dought it would only do it from 1st to second. I had a 78 truck 5 speed on a l18 that reved to 8500 and you couldn't shift from 1st to second over 7000 . I swapped in a zx na trans and had the same problem . I always just figured that L series 5 speeds could not shift between 1st and 2nd over 8 grand .
  3. I replaced the rear trans seal and trans mount filled the 5 speed with new gear oil . This was a pain since it is cold . Went to Go for a test drive and the battery was dead. Doh!
  4. My sr 510 use to see 205 to 210 on long hard freeway pulls 180 190 normal driving

  13. I have not done it on a z only on my 510's you usualy flang the rear tail light panel on a dime when you cut the tail light wholes bigger for sss tail lights . I have a pic of when my buddy flanged my core support for my inter cooler on my dime. All you do is take a body hammer and bend the edge you cut out 90 degreese. Then we use a grinder with a cut of wheel to make the edge you bent straight this is the only pic i took and it was the first ruf pass if you look close you can see what i am talking about
  14. use a air hammer it makes life so much easyer. The first time i did it it took for ever
