I was considering buying a seibon hood before I fell in love with a 280zone's Fiberglass SS style hood (A beautiful piece I might add). I called up seibon directly to get a quote as they dont list it directly on their site. I had some questions concerning how I should prep their hood for a lacquer topcoat. Their body guy had no idea what I was talking about. I wasn't after a Carbon hood to begin with and their lack of expertise steered me away. I was in need of a replacement hood and I couldn't find a decent steel one. Zcarsource offers the seibon hood as well. Thats my 2 cents.

Which one? There are two styles of three row balances I've encountered on the the 280zx.

Swap your old flex plate and torque convertor over and everything will bolt together. You won't have a problem.

The truck intake is too tall using the stock hood and off the shelf ls1 mounting kits. The truck accessory drive can be modified to work though.

I'm trying to find something local as shipping would run around $170. I'll let you know though.

I've found a few autos in that price range already. I've looked at the Virginia car posted above and it was pretty clean. I'm really looking for a factory manual car. I know its a low car but he drives my s130 all over the place as it is so ride height shouldn't be a problem . My fiance and her family are under 5 ft tall they'll fit back there anyone else is just going to have a bad day. I found a real nice jdm 2 seater with 32,000 miles a few months back for little more than song. I let it go because of the back seat and it was local as well. Thanks guys keep the ideas coming.

Come February, I will be in the market for a clean twin turbo rhd z32 2+2 with a manual transmission. I was wondering if anybody knew of a reputable importer in Texas for such a task? I want the back seat and I need the right hand drive so an older passenger can be seated up front comfortably. It physically hurts my grandfather to get in and out of the right side of a vehicle so he rarely lets others drive. If anybody has a suggestion please let me know. Thanks Anthony

With a rear sump pan it should bolt right in a s130. I believe you can use your original driveshaft as well. Can't remember about the trans. Learn to use search btw.
