  1. Hello, I needed an NA 300ZX R200 VLSD for my project car. This is what I found. Can anyone tell wether or not this is the correct item? I can't find a definitive answer anywhere else. R200V Short nose, 5 Bolt ouput shafts (240SX) Ratios 3.90, 4.08 LSD Viscous R200V Short nose, 300ZX NA, 5 Bolt ouput shafts Ratios 4.09 LSD Viscous Can anyone tell me what all the differences are between these two differentials? I bought a diff today of which I thought it could only be a 300ZX diff, but now I am not so sure anymore. Ratio is definitely 4.08 or 4.09, it also has LSD, but is it possible that the flanges are different? These are all the data I can find. Alloy finned cover 4.xx : 1 gear ratio 5 bolt output flanges 4 bolt input flange 2 abs sensors shortnose case 38311 43M00 part number on the top of the case.

  3. When maximum lift is .480, I guess timing is measured at 0.050 lift:mrgreen:

  5. +1 That is a very crappy catalog to say the least! Are there really no other parts available for an L6 engine? I want to see more beautifully crafted cranks, rods, pistons, headers, intake manifold...
  6. I have no idea, but the website is still online. There are many links to suppliers that no longer work, probably because most of them went bust. Anyone who can shed some light on this question?
  7. I couldn't find a list of several L6 engine parts suppliers, so I thought I'd start with a small list. I would really appreciate it if other, more experienced, people could chime in and make this a complete list. There must be alot more around the globe:mrgreen: Engine parts general www.rebelloracing.com Building great engines for Z series www.jimcookracing.com Supercharger kit, 3.1 liter engine kit, pistons, valve retainer, camshafts... www.kameariusa.com/index.php Nice but very expensive racing engine parts www.rhdjapan.com More very expensive Kameari parts www.courtesyparts.com Nissan and NISMO engine parts www.zccjdm.com Kameari parts, copper head gaskets, nice exterior parts www.tomeiusa.com Camshafts, intake manifold, head gaskets, valve springs and adjustable cam pulley www.zcarparts.com Suppliers of performance and remanufactured engine parts (and much, much more...) www.mjpauto.com UK based parts supplier (camshaft kits, headers, Weber carburettor kits) Induction www.twminduction.com DCOE style individual throttle bodies www.jenvey.co.uk DCOE style individual throttle bodies www.webcon.co.uk Weber DCOE intake manifold, Weber carburettors Exhaust www.stahlheaders.com Beautifully crafted headers Camshafts www.iskycams.com 5 different grinds for L6 engines www.schneidercams.com Different grinds for NA, turbocharged en fuel injected L6 engines Pistons www.venolia.com
  8. Wow, great sounding engine! Were the coil packs the cause of your trouble?
  9. Another bump for a great product! Is there really nobody who runs such a setup?
  10. Even if you have to buy some extra parts, I would definitely get hold of such a great package. That is of course if, as you say, the price is right:)
  11. Hi, Since there seems to be no previous record of this part, I would like to ask you for your opinions on this intake manifold. Anyone with personal experiences with Tomei parts for the L6 can post their comments too:) I have already heard quite a lot of bad reports on the Mangoletsi intake for the L6, therefor I am looking to get a good alternative. I guess it would be an awesome setup using this intake manifold and Jenvey or TWM individual throttle bodies. This is the Tomei triple Weber/Solex intake manifold for the L6 engine. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogue/e122_intake_carb.html Here's the complete Tomei line up for L6 engines. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogue/e027_kisyubetsu_l6_ae.html Kind regards, Kristof.
  12. There are many Chevy V8 engine builders in America, but is it possible to have an engine-transmission combo built in America (by one shop) so that I can have the entire package shipped to Europe? Great thread BTW:icon14:
  13. Hi, Does anyone know what happened to this firm? The website used to be www.amerspeed.com, but the link doesn't seem to work anymore. I already tried Google, but I cannot find any information. Do any of you can tell me more? Just curious... K.
  14. Thanks Alex, That's the sort of info I was looking for. The reason I want a strong bottom end is not for the 300hp mentioned. I just don't want to tear the entire engine apart every time I upgrade engine output (with another turbo, wastegate, etc). Do you have an opinion on reliability of tuned (>350whp) or is that an issue when they are professionally built? www.norrisdesigns.com is just across the channel, they seem to be a great option for Europe customers. A la prochaine fois, K.
