  1. Def need details on this mod!
  2. Get Rick Wong Mounts! Much better quality!
  3. I am looking for information on the Z31 VSS that attaches directly to the cog. I had a Z (from Canada) with this style before and just found pictures of the sensor on line. You can see it in the top right corner. Does anyone have any info on this sensor? I would like to use one on my current build. EZpickenZ
  4. Here is the Al trans mount. I moved the OE brackets back and used a urethane mount to make it cheaper and easier to replace. I also took pics of the distance between the engine and fire wall for my own knowledge.
  5. Hoover, The engine may not be an inch, but i'll have to measure it when i get a chance. It is close enough that the valve cover breathers scratched the crap out of the hood latch down there at the back of the engine. I fabbed up my own Al tranny mount. It wasn't hard...just time consuming. I'll see if i can get a pic of the tranny mount if you want. I attached the "apparently" only pic I have of the engine mounts (only 1 side). They are very nice. EZ
  6. I like the way the engine is placed with Ricks mounts. I have attached pics. Please excuse the dirty engine bay. I'm still in the middle of the build and a shed/shade tree mechanic.
  7. if you can get a hold of Rick on here, he has some great billet Al mounts. i did have to fab up my own trans mount, but that is not too hard. im not impressed by the mckinney mounts.
  8. What type of back spacing do you have on the wheels and what is the distance between the coilovers and wheel/tires?
  9. ZT-R, Have you finished your A/C system? If so, what are the specs and parts you used? Did you use the GTR compressor? Thanks.
  10. Yeah. I plumbed one of those in a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait to test it out. I also added The 1" master cylinder and will be using some calipers and rotors.
  11. I Jus Bought A Angle Guage And Found That The Angle Is ~14°. Good call tech40799. Thanks For The Input Guys.
  12. Ok. I've Looked On Both Suspension Pages And I Can't Find The Answer Im Looking For. Im Trying To Find The Angle Of The Front Spindle/Hub Compared To The Strut Housing. Has Anyone Posted This Info Here? If So, Please Point Me In The Right Direction. Sry For The Caps On Each Word. My Phone Has A Problem! Thanks, Chris
  13. No. It came tied to the ECM. In the diagram it also looks like a relay, but only the resistor is hooked up.
  14. Does anyone know what exactly this resistor is for? i have found it on the FSM diagram and it runs from the Alternator to the resistor and then to Joint connector A. At the joint connector it splits to 3 other green wires which go to the reverse light switch, boost sensor, 3 things on the dash, buzzer, and fuse block. Can I just attach the W/R to the Alt. and ground the green wire?
  15. From what i can tell the colors are B/Y and B. The B is a ground and the B/Y goes through plug Q and into the main harness and then to the Fuel Pump control modulator and fuel pump relay. I will have to look at my paperwork to know exactly. I attached a PP showing the route in the FSM. I believe that it is on the underside of the Intake manifold. The wiring is attached to the knock sensors and AAC valve harness. If anyone knows different please let me know, but I'm pretty sure it's there. Sry ZT-R I had to jack a pic. One of the 2 parts attached to the manifold should be it, but I'm not sure which yet. I still have to check it on the engine. Air reg diag.ppt
  16. I'm curious. How much power will the Nistune allow and how soon would the MAF meters have to be swapped out for the Z32 MAF? I've also been thinking about getting Nistune for my RB26.
  17. Where did you get the brass connectors that go through the Al plate for the fuel pumps?
  18. What brake lines did you use and where did you get them?
  19. Man...this sure is making me impatient with my own build. Thanks for the info on the A/C. I have a question on the brakes. I noticed that you are using the 280z booster and 280zx BMC. I looked for how you had it set up, but i cant find what im looking for. How do you have the brakes set up? Do you have a proportioning valve for the front to rear bias? If so, what did you use? Do you like the 15/16" MC or do you think the Wilwood 1" MC would be better? I plan on keeping the Z32 30mm Al callipers all the way around and getting some Brembo rotors and good pads to go with them. I will be going with the 260Z booster unless it is damaged. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Keep the pics coming. I'm loving this build.
  20. Hey Lee, Which Vintage air set up is that. Is there a kit number? I was planning to go with that, but haven't made it to that point in my build.
  21. Where did you get the bent stainless tubing? I cant find anyone to bend any.
