  1. I have a pair of Chrome Fender mirrors sitting in my garage still, original buyer never contacted me back. if you want i can get you pictures, these are the ones that your looking for. Send me a email... Ron
  2. Whats your outlook on normal drivability with this setup. Would this just be for track use? Did you have to change your gear ratio at all? thanks Ron
  3. Just curious, if you still are running the Airflow meter. Depending on quality of the meter, may cause this situation. Also the tube going to the airflow meter, may be cracked somewere, Big vaccum leak. Im not 100 sure of the problem. so bare with me just guessing possible problems. To bad you dont have a fuel pressure gauge to see if it is really is fuel delivery problem. could always tee it in somewere.. O ya see if any of you injectors clips are loose... Good luck Ron
  4. Hey all, Got a question concerning the breather assembly, What diam. hose is required or recommended, -8 / -6 maybe larger? The hoses are going into a catch can, vacumm source is from the intake piping before the turbo after the filter. I also need to know which way the check valves need to be positioned of the valve/block breathers? Any help would be appreciated. For the ones that dont know my car, it is not "Stock" Nor have the factory manifolds, so plumbing is alittle difficult. Here a picture or link to my engine bay so you can see what i have to work with, Sorry about the mess. URL=]http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/466434[/url] Thanks Ron
  5. Are you looking for anything inparticular? I can do a write up on the installation and pictures if your interested. later Ron
  6. Hello all, Quick question, Im replacing my seats in my 240Z, But before i do it i need to see if a seat that has a <w> of 22" would fit in the car. I have seen the miata forum, but they dont list the seats that im trying to go with, which are simular to Tenzo Type R adjustables. Any one have information would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks Ron
  7. Well I did it, i made my own strut bar for the front and rear, actually turned out beter then i thought it would, just need to powder coat and should be looking real good. Thanks Ron Rosamond CA
  8. Has anyone made a strut bar for there 240z? (not bought one) Im looking into getting, say a honda civic strut bar off ebay. Cutting the brackets and re welding it to a new bracket that fits the z, has anyone done this? can this be done? ANy suggestions? thanks Ron
  9. First off, you will not get anywere with this confrontation as a yelling match. I know for a fact that if a customer comes in ticked off and starts cussing up a storm, the conversation just ended. Now if the customer comes in level headed, calm and collective. Me and My shop would bend over backwards for them. Hell its not our money to replace a dash panel, or what ever and we want the customer happy because, they may tell 1 person of the good experience and tell 10 people of the bad ones. Not good for business. Now here is the funny part, Dont waste your time with any one except the manager I know i dont want the manager working on my car. lack of car time. Ideally you need to speak to the lead or shop assistant, they are the ones that does the hands on work, not the paper pushing manager. As For HS drop outs,(installers) maybe in some areas but majority are college attending students. Doing a degree in electronics or simular hands on field. Remember you are the ones that brought your car to them, They didnt come to you. You mentioned Tweeters, (AKA Bestbuy) Co company. They do have a SIL <self insured loss> account, If the assistant cant take care of you, you walk to customer service and get the Cool Line number, for customer corp assistant. They are the ones that gets the ball rolling, if couldnt be helped on the shop side. The store manager of the main store. HAHAHA thats funny majority of them are lost around the shop, and will BS babble the situation. As for a bulb going out, It happens all the time. In example, 2001 Honda Accord Clock has to be removed when doing a radio install, The littlest vibration causes the light to go out. So it is possible. Be polite and get the customer cool line number if it doesnt get resolved, Hopefully you didnt sign a release when you picked up the car, with out checking it first. Because then its your word against theres. Remember Dont piss of people working on your car or making your food. Just like farva in Super troopers. Is this spit on my burger? Later Ron Good luck
  10. Just curious what the performance is by having a aftermarket wastegate vent in to the atmosphere over being plumbed into the exhaust? Is there one benifit over the other.
  11. Hello All, I've already searched the forum for answers, And was wondering about the Walbro gsl-392 fuel Pump, Were might the cheapest place be to pick one up? Also seen the turbo pump @ cb performance for 104.00 which flows 80 gph. Unless you recommend something different in the way of pumps? I would really like one with an fittings..... Thanks Ron
  12. That is exactly who i was talking about, I knew Dave, Austin, Paul From Both locations IPS/Premier, That was the shop i was originally talking about, Dave Did have that setup on one of his customers cars that lived in Simi Valley, Im just sceptical on the 20hp gain. Even thought the car moved really good. I used to hang out at the shop like two to three times a week before they closed down (IPS) Unfortuanally I stopped contact due to getting burned on some pistons but thats a old news not needed to bring up. Its in the past. Other then business, personally they were extremly cool individuals. You know what I may have the drawings still to date in a box when we were discussing this, should be interesting to find again. Later Ron
