  4. since I owned a 69 GS400 and it had that same style grill-on-the-bulge thing goin on lol
  5. looks like a copy of the 69 buick GS hood to me...
  6. Thanks for all the info guys its great! Im planning a clifford intake drilled for gm style injectors and a holley baseplate t/b with tps and blow through... Im gonna start with a carb and NOS plate and work my way towards a EFI setup in the future... anyone know who makes distributors specifically for this? Mallory? MSD? Just wondering the simplest ignition setup for this. Im starting with a 78 l28n/a complete driving car by the way. Can I retain the distributor and use an aftermarket ign control?
  7. konig rewinds on that blue 280?
  8. I drove Dads early 240 first time about 9 or 10 loved the little go karts ever since
  9. Between Dad and I weve owned a nov 69 240z(1970 model),a 72 240z, an october 73 260z(1974 model), now a 1978 280z, and my little brother once had a 1979 280zx (we like S30's better for many reasons) Anyone else been around em for 30 years? Kind of a family tradition >
  10. Im thinking 4bbl intake aftermarket distributor holley carb with a turbo and a NOS plate system... any ideas on this guys? Mabye use the stock efi fuel system with a return type fpr so I can use the big pressure for the nitrous system and cut it down for the carb... v8 guys do blow throughs all the time- gonna drag race and street cruise it so lemme know what yall think...
  11. Only difference I havent seen mentioned that I know of is the dash. The early cars had a smooth top without the routeresue dip on the 260-280 cars... I wish I had an early 240 dash for my 280 LOL
