  1. If anyone is still interested in this topic. I have ordered from here for replacement fasteners. There are yellow cad fasteners that are similar to stock Nissan parts. I personally like the yellow cad look better than stainless. http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/default.asp Lots to search through... here's a good one to get started with http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Hex_Head_Sems_Bolt_M6_1_0X_16mm_p/a18177.htm
  2. I agree except when it comes to galvanized sheet metal which is in various places. The metal prep foams when used on galvanized since the acid reacts to the zinc. This seems to leave a less that ideal surface for POR-15 to stick to.
  3. I'd spray on some epoxy primer and top that with some chassis paint. I used POR-15 on my 260z and wish I hadn't. Its such a pain to work with (mess and smell) and it has peeled off in areas where I had used it over galvanized metal. I used epoxy primer and chassis black paint from Eastwood for the underside and I'm real happy with the results. For the interior, primer by itself should be fine. I used a cheap touch-up gun from Harbor Freight to apply. http://www.eastwood....it-gray-qt.html
  4. Hi Folks, Anyone have an aftermarket master cylinder Nabco brand or other with the 3/8-24 to M10x1 outlet fittings they wanna sell? I'm looking to do a Wilwood 1" MC install on my 260z and my Tokico MC has the wrong outlet fittings. This thread shows the MC w/ outlet fittings I need. http://forums.hybrid...the-s30-z-cars/
  5. If you want to do a nice looking custom job you might want to check out what was done in this video. It's about 6 minutes into the video before the guy gets to building the lenses but it's all pretty good fabrication work. http://www.spike.com...season-4-ep-103
  6. I replaced a bunch of mine from this site. There is a crapload of stuff on this site. http://www.clipsandf...com/default.asp start with these: http://www.clipsandf...mm_p/a18177.htm http://www.clipsandf..._8_p/a18182.htm I like these under the fender: http://www.clipsandf...os_p/a12693.htm
  7. My plan was to use the Wilwood 1" MC that was referenced on the sticky for this folder. The recommendation for this MC is to remove the residual pressure valve for disc brakes.
  8. Looking at the FSM (download from http://www.xenons30.com) there is what they are calling a "check valve assembly" in the rear outlet of the master cylinder. My guess is that this valve serves as the residual pressure valve since it's in the typical location for one. Maybe someone can verify this? Your plan for the proportioning valve looks like the right way to do it.

  10. I removed the torsion bars from my hinges a couple months ago in an effort to clean them up. I didn't have a camera handy at the time i took these apart and now I am having a hard time figuring out how to put these back together. I spent some time searching previous posts and I'm a little surprised this hasn't come up before. Anyone have any pictures and or tips on putting these back together?
  11. I'm interested in a pair with speaker provisions. About how much $ are these gonna go for?
