Does anyone know the difference between the RB and RB-R?? I can't wait till the silver/polished 16x8 +04 comes out!! Randy (BTW those look nothing like konig rewinds, but exactly like panasports IMO)

Does anyone know why they make it in a 6.9" diameter? I just measured, and a 240 comes in at 5", 280 at 6.25". why would they design it to be larger in diameter then either of these? I'm concerned that any weight savings will be offset by overdriving the accessories. what's the deal?

there are a bunch of "clips" that hold the two peices together, you just have to bend them out of the way, and it comes apart. I just recently bought a new one from Autozone.. no complaints so far (have about 3k miles on it). I would have rebuilt my old one, but couldnt source the re-build kit... You can drive your car without the booster, just plug the vacuum line. I drove with mine disconnected for 2 weeks... just remember that you have to press HARD to slow down.

does your 240 have a 7" booster or 8.5"? 7" were used from 70-72, 72-78 used 8.5 or 10. I put a 8.5 into my car (72 240) which origanally had a 7". The bolt patten to the firewall is different... so I had to drill new holes... BTW: 10" booster came on 2+2 models Randy
