  1. Miles could it be possible you could measure from the edge of the rotor to the top of the caliper?. I wanna see if its possible to use my rims.
  2. Hello i have a question about rim clearance on the rear disc conversion. what does the inside clearance of the rim have to be for the conversion? i have 14 inch rims and was wondering if i have to upgrade to 15 or 16 inches. I looked through about 20 posts hoping i could find info on it, but no luck. So i was hoping someone could chime in on the subject. i have about 13.65 inches(give or take quarter inch) of inside space of my rims. Could i possible get away with this if i grind the rims and top of caliper down a tad bit? so i could put off buying rims and tires for the moment being
  3. i have a 1973 240z, and when i bought it it came with a complete 280z door set,,, well low and behold my passenger side door handle broke, and i was wondering if anyone knows if i can swap over the 280 handle to the 240z door? I'm probably going to get criticized for this question but i just want this question answered already... I've searched the forums but all they say the only differences between the doors are the strikers,ETC. I want to know if the handles are the same.. I have my doubts because of a self perpetuated thought about heavier door needs a beefier handle and mechanism. so if anyone wants to chime in? Any information would be appreciated....
  4. yeah that is true, i actually started sanding down the primer.. The only rust i found so far is under the battery tray, a common spot for any car.. ill be taking pictures in a few days of the car
  5. Well i would like to start this off like this.. I finally bought a complete 240z.. All original with 4 speed, and all the interior pieces. I've been searching for a Z like this for about 4 years. I found it on Craigslist for 1000 bucks, loaded up the trailer and was on my way from LA to Ventura County to pick it up, mind you i have not even seen a picture of it. I ran rough but still pulled its own weight up the trailer:D. So long story short i moved it to my buddies garage, and happily paying his mom $50 a month to store it while i get it "Road-Worthy". Im currently going through the Brake system, and then im going to refresh the motor a little bit.. Im actually looking for a little insight on the car from a 240 veteran, if you wanna check out the car ... Im looking for Parts like fender mirrors, and glove boxes so Pm me if you are in the LA, or OC area and selling parts
  6. idk about a 1973 240z but i might have a rollpan froma 1972 in a couple days because im goin to be cuttting up a shell so just pm me
  7. wow man i almost had an orgasm scrolling down when it caught my eye ...haha but it looks great man thanks you very much kind sir. it almost looks to me that i have some competition in the green z department too, next time when im in the las vegas area ima have to check out your car
  8. o yeah dude, i love the color green you have actually what the name of that??? is it a stock color?? well i would like it to be a little lighter though but beggers cant be choosers haha.. yeah but thanks man if you can
  9. yeah ive been doing some pondering about what colors i could possibly paint my 240z. i have come to a decision and know what i want, but thats where photoshop comes in. i dont have photoshop on my computer so i cant even try to attempt it(even though it looks easy on youtube haha..) so can someone pretty please photoshop this picture im goin to attach to this post, its the rims stance and everything i want except the color so hopefully something happens, and i can make into my wallpaper. the colors i was thinking of are kawasaki green and or midnight purple
  10. yeah i wondered the same thing about a parts list but then i finally decided if i was going to attempt a build like this i would just buy a salvaged 350z and start from there
  11. yeah i started the same topic but what kind of flares did they use front and back and where could you get them????????
  12. i was searching online at 240z pics and this one popped up and i have to have this for my z, does anyone know who makes this kit, or is it a one off custom????
