  1. Received my new fuel rail this week. I was very impressed with the quality of the product and how quick It was made and shipped out. Thanks a lot Pallnet, great job!
  2. Pallnet, Sent you funds for 11mm O-ringed fuel rail with AN end fittings via PayPal on December 31st. Just confirming. Thanks, Steve
  3. Made my decision on the 11mm o-ring fuel rail, emailed you for pricing info. Thanks Steve
  4. Hello, I plan on ordering a fuel rail this week, just not sure whether I will need an 11mm or 14mm yet. I'm working on a 1977 280z turbo conversion with new engine management. Not sure what injectors I'll be using. Could use some advice if possible. Thanks Steve
  5. I would like to get some more info from z race products about the coilovers, camber plates & strut bars because I was just getting ready to order ground control coilovers, etc. I like the looks of this, but would like more info, (spring rates, prices, availability, etc.) So, if you know the guy let him know there's interested potential customers out there needing info. Thanks
  6. I would also like to know what coil over kit that is as well as the camber plates. Did you incorporate a strut brace with the camber plates? Nice looking job.
  7. I can't wait to get some of these CF parts for my Z. I really like the tail light pieces, they look classy. I would also like to see a 2 or 3 gauge pod for the pillar, along with center console, heater control surround and maybe even some rear shock tower covers for the 280z. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see some really cool CF products.
  8. zredbaron, awesome looking work on the z. When you do something , you do it right. Great job.
  9. I'm with JMortensen. The ACT setup with a heavier duty pressure plate and a street performance disc is a good way to go. I did a little research on that setup and searched prices a bit and came up with the following: www.importrp.com seemed to have the best pricing on there ACT package deal (I've never bought anything from them yet but plan to soon) 1. Heavy Duty Pressure Plate With Street Performance Disc (Increase of 20% - 50% Clamp Load) (400 ft/lbs torque capacity) Part # = NX2-HDSS $353.82 (free shipping) 2. Xtreme Pressure Plate With Street Performance Disc (Increase of 50% - 120% Clamp Load) (490 ft/lbs torque capacity) Part # = NX2-XTSS $393.13 (free shipping) I plan to purchase the xtreme pressure plate with the street performance disc for my L28et project. I've asked around from others with the turbo setup in there z and they all told me the same thing. They have tried quite a few different clutch setups and thought that this would be the best option for me. I plan to have 350-400 hp. This is only my opinion. Since I have not yet purchased this clutch setup, I can't tell you yet how well it works. You will get a lot of different opinions by asking questions on this forum which is great. That's what it is all about. Maybe you can gather enough valuable info and come up with the perfect clutch setup for your situation. If it works out good for you be sure to let us know which setup you choose and how well it works. (For future reference for others who will sooner or later be doing the same search you are doing for the best clutch setup for their situation). Sorry I was so long winded, good luck with your search. Hope this info helps.
  10. The measurements for oil drain hole: 9 3/4" from back of engine and 1 3/4" down from bottom of engine. I got these measurements from one of the hybridz forumns and it worked great for my oil pan. You may want to just double check after you mark for the hole to be drilled and make sure it will clear the baffle panel on the inside. The measurement is to the center of the hole. I'll try to get you a picture later so you can see if the oil pan matches with yours.
  11. As far as the oil pan goes, I had my oil pan modified to accept a turbo oil drain line instead of trying to locate a stock turbo oil pan. I bought a steel weld-in bung and a 45 degree 10AN fitting and had a friend tig weld the bung in the side of the oil pan and screwed in the anodized fitting angled upwards. Looks and works awesome. The bung was about $5 and the AN fitting was about $8, and the tig welding cost $20. If you plan on going that route I can find out the exact location of where the hole needs to be drilled for the bung. (Plus it looks a lot cooler than the stock oil pan, if that means anything to you.) Good luck.
  12. If you now have the five lug setup, you have a lot more wheel designs to choose from compared to the 4 lugs. There are tons more options available. More people seem to be going with the larger wheels these days. 16", 17" & even some 18" tall rims on the older z cars. 17" seems to be a very popular rim size. As far as trying to calculate the rim width and offset that you need specific to your vehicle, you can go to www.bozeforged.com and check out the fitment guide to help you get all the proper measurements needed to fit a rim to your ride. According to the fitment guide located in Part 2, there are quite a few different measurements you will need to take to get the right fit. I hope this has helped you.
  13. I think you'll like the SEM interior paint/dye. I used the same stuff on my interior parts and it turned out great. It's been quite a few years now and it still looks good. I even bought some of the black and sprayed it on the rear piece of slightly faded black carpet and it all ended up looking brand new again. Good stuff. It's an inexpensive way to make you interior look new again. Believe me I know, I got lots of plans but no money. Keep up the good work.
  14. Blue72 I've been battling whether or not to perform my first paint job on my own Z, not having a paint booth to paint in. I'm very impressed with the outcome of your paint job. It seems you were able get great results painting yours in the carport. (make shift paint booth) You have given me the confidence to attempt this on my own now. I'm going to attempt to paint mine in a garage. Hope mine turns out as good as yours did. Good job brother! Look forward to seeing the final pics.
  15. That's really cool stuff. Can't wait to see finished product. Much needed item.
