  4. The LSD Brace page is my web page and actually the brace is for the R200 LSD conversion. Mark Icard whos car is pictured was the first to use the brace on a R230. Owen also bought one of the braces for his R230 conversion. The R230 VLSD heat issue is news to me. There may be something to it but I also think the % are too high. Dave...
  5. I think that power is the issue here. I have experienced the added power loss that a TH400 gives you over a TH 350 in a V8 Vega I had. Dave.. Blood Sweat And Gears Thats the name of the game

  9. I think Terry better fess up! There will be a convoy of HybridZ's heading to his house by morning. Oh I figured it out there is a shaft that goes up the tunnel and then with another pully and belt ends at a set of bike pedals for the passenger. Dave

    Differential Mount?

I have a urethane tranny mount that is interlocking. It in made by Energy suspension. You can see a picture of it at suspension.com the part number is 3-1108 the application is Chevelle or Camero, well it really fits all Chevs. It is almost a perfect fit as far as bolting to the two front bolt holes in on the R200. But like Pete said it will have to go on top. Ron Tyler hangs out at Datsuns.com and there is a write up on his car there. Dave... [ July 05, 2001: Message edited by: Dave ]
  17. Years ago I built a street rod and used a device called a PassMaster that cuts the power to the the clutch for the airconditing compressor on full throttle. The PassMaster is Vaccume actuated. I used it on the alternater to cut the field circuit on full throttle. The PassMaster is NLA there has to be something out there that is Vaccume actuated that I can use instead. Does anyone have any ideas? Some one said that Dodge in the early 80's had such a device screwed in to the manifold that was vaccume acuated but I have had no luck finding anything. Help me out here guys. When I had it on my 30 Model A that was Windsor powered you could feel the alternater cut out in the seat of your pants. One side note here this may not be for every body because there is a voltage drop when this happens and the ECU may not like it. Dave....
  18. Hi Matt, I have seen both the round and the square R200 pinion flange on the 280Z and the 280ZX's. If it fits the R200 then you can use it. Dave...

  20. Has any one used the the stock 240Z automatic shifter on their V8 conversion? if you have what did you use for a shift arm on the tranny? I flipped the shift arm to the left side of the shifter and the tranny I am using is a TH350. Dave...
  21. Hey Cahant I see no reason to take down the pictures. I am shure that every body here will agree. We pride ourselves in the way we conduct our selves and the way the forums are run. slo50h is out of line, we are not a group that will put up with personal attacks. There may be a time and place for what he did but it is not here. Dave...

  23. Is there any interest in cross drilled or slotted rotors that are new for $85 each? These fit the 74 to 78 Z's I may also have rotors for the 70-73 Z's. I don't have any yet I am trying to find out if it is worth doing. These will be machined on a mill and be high quality. Dave... 24. JTR's drive line flange is made by NEAPCO The part number is 2-2-899-1 go to the NEAPCO web page www.neapco.com and find out who the NEAPCO dealer is in your area and get it from them. It will be cheaper than from JTR. Dave...
