  1. Congrats , that is great ,I need a pic of mine doing that! I take it pretty easy out of the hole because of rear end and axles.
  2. That is such a great set up,I can't believe that one of us has not gone down this road yet. I have already bought my pro charger that is why I wanted to see the set up in someones car,I know that I can make it fit it's really the hood that I am worried about, I don't want to run to big of a hood scoop.I was hoping to be able to fit under a small cowl hood. Thanks for your info.
  3. Just wondering if anyone has gone the Procharger route yet on small or big block , I have an F1 and am going to put it in my next 280 zx project,I would love to see some pics if someone has already gone this route. Thanks
  4. I've had my pipes on for a couple of years, they look and sound great but I have to admit the noise is a little much at times but I do get alot of compliments
  5. I've seen the Whiteboy street racing video and that car is very fast but 1QUICK Z must be one of the quickest.
  6. Good luck,i'm sure Barney will be glad to see you again, keep us up to date.Did you make the rear spoiler for the big tire car or can we buy that from somewhere? Thanks
  7. Thanks, did the swap ,way to easy, this was the easiest part of my whole conversion, way to go Ross.I took it straight out for a nitrous launch,WOW,what a great set up this is.After some serious fun,i now have my tranny slipping at 6000 rpm shifts,great.....I had everything working for almost a day, now i have to post a tranny thread and spend another grand. 700 r4 stage 2 shift kit 2800 stall,do you think it could be the convertor?
  8. I'm in the middle of my cv conversion from Ross, looks straight forward except 3/8 inch cv shortening,i don't want to pull the bearing out and loose it all over the floor. No instructions came with the kit.If you have done this please give me some of your knowledge so i can get this car back on the road. Thanks Kent
  9. Looks like it's going to be a quick one, give us some drivetrain specs and estimated completion.Keep up the good work!
  10. That's toooo funny,Dr. Hunt,I can't wait for the day that there is air under my front tires. At this point i'm taking it pretty easy out of the hole, but soon i'll be brave enough to hit the switch off the line and break some parts.
  11. Thanks Dale, how did you mount the center section and what kind of vehicle did the shorter axles and control arms come from?If anybody has a photo of their install that would be very helpful.
  12. Anybody here done a Jag rear end swap? I was at the Portland swap meet and got a sceaming deal on a Jag rear, posi with 3.7 ,it looks very similiar to my r200 but i don't now how difficult the swap will be,or if it is worth doing?I would appreciate any info anyone has on this conversion Thanks!!
  13. Am i missing something? I'd love to watch a Z spank anything!
  14. JNJ was right on the money,i watched and was thrilled to see Jon run so strong,my phone has been ringing of the hook since the show aired and i'm proud to have a cool Hybrid Z.Again well done Jon.
  15. Jon,great looking car,the first race did you hit the nitrous right out of the hole,it seemed that way. What are you running for a rear end and what gears? I'm hoping to hit the track up here in Canada this Friday, weather man say's 22 degrees and sunny.I have not used the nos at the track yet so some info on your setup and when you use it would be very helpful.Congrats on the win, what are you doing with Barney?
