  1. If there's still a chance for this to happen, I'm in for set.
  2. Finally the RKR's are on. Fr 17x8.5 +4, Rear 17x9.5 -0- steel gray. Looks great Aaron! I can't wait to see it in person at the Datsun show in Canby this year Is that a JDM or Euro bumper? I noticed it says Datsun.
  3. All right aarang, I heard you have these mounted. Care to post some photos?
  4. Woo Hoo! Nice work. Now the real fun begins (tuning)
  5. Nice Aaron!! Have you been able to test-fit them yet to check the full-lock steering clearance and how close it comes to the strut tube? I suppose that you'll need tires to really know how well they fit. Man, I want some of these in dark bronze for the S130T!!
  6. I'd want one of everything, except for the hat. I'm just not too much of a hat guy.
  7. Rip van Winkle here ... I tried using a small netbook and I found pretty difficult to see what's going on because of the resolution of the small screen.
  8. It's happened to me before, and I think it dripped on my ecu, causing it freak out above ~4500 rpm. [edit: had to clean the connector block terminals really good, that's when I discovered the oil] I replaced the speedo cog and the problem went away. Maybe you just need to make sure the o-ring seal is good. Hope this helps...
  9. The PO picked this 1999 (?) or 2001 Honda electron blue pearl. A bit too flashy for my taste, but it grew on me. With all the pearl, it can also go from dark to light. I agree about the BMW blue on an S30...that would look really good.
  10. Have you considered running intakes out of the front fender instead of the exhaust? It could give the the look and some of the sound, and still be functional.
  11. Would one of these work? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=h4+connector
  12. Nice! Thanks for the info Yasin. It looks like you can add another 'twin' and wire them up in parallel (if you need the extra reserve capacity) and still be much cheaper than say the Optima blue top.
  13. Should be no problem. By the way, many P90A's came with solid lifters from the factory (sometimes all the way up to 83?)
  14. You can bet one is probably the Ford model T. So the question is really what are the other eight?
  15. I attended UIUC for my BSME. Back in '95 we had to do homework over the web for Circuits class. The app was called Circuit Tutor, but we called it circuit torture! The only good web browsers out there back then was NCSA Mosaic and NetScape . You had to manually set up your IP using a trumpet winsock application. When we had to send in our answers, half the time CT and TP would crash. At least you can submit your answers reliably! Personally, I think it is good advice to save your Engineering textbooks. I still use mine at least once a week, since I'm in the "simulation software" industry.
  16. Right on Dustin! I still have your phone # and will get in touch soon. Yes I'm back rollin in the 240z Come on door hinges (crossing fingers) talk to me!
  17. Hi, Like the title says, I'm looking for LHS (driver side) door hinges for my '71 240z. Also, I have an early 280z gas tank that I need the straps for in order to install and update to FI. Thanks for looking! -Hugh
  18. You find a nut or bolt in the driveway and know exactly where it goes!
  19. I installed the springs this weekend, and it raised the rear 1" :\ I wanted it to drop 1" I ended up cutting 1.5 coils on the rears (1/2 coil was the flat) so 1 "free" coil. This brought me back to the original ride height (26" from ground to top of wheel arch). After I drove it to work today, it looks like the suspension settled an inch. Hopefully this is at the 1" drop I was looking for. (ps: cutting installed coils isn't too bad with an angle grinder. You can forget about using a hacksaw unless your objective is to build muscles, sweat, and burn time)
  20. Hi Tom, You can call Panasport directly in Socal (310)373-0071. I just ordered mine from an employee "Mas". They were $20 each, and you need to specify the size in metric (66mm, 56mm, etc.) -Hugh
  21. Stivva, those Sakuras are the coolest looking rims!
  22. I had a learning experience getting mine on. I believe I got one of their first runs, so maybe their nominal size is better now. Here is the thread: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/57510-powerforce-harmonic-damper-install/page__st__20 The timing bracket on a '82 ZXT is on the left side of the front cover. In order to minimize the parallax error in setting the base timing, I made an extension to the TDC mark (after verifying the crank is at TDC): Maybe this is due to the large diameter pulley for the AC / PS. I used a large bolt and washer to press it on. Hope this helps! -Hugh
  23. The first one is a 240ZX and the second a 280SX
  24. Thanks Guys! Billseph has one on the way for me already
