  1. SOULI would never advise someone to buy someone else's modifications especially if you don't have experience with these cars. Although they are quite simple first you need to know what's should be on the car and that takes a few years of owning and repairing one. In Redondo Beach there is a shop aptly named " REDONDO BEACH Z WORLD". I bought my first S30 from them when it was sitting in their back lot. It hadn't been driven in a while but he got it running for me. $1500 for the car and about $700 to get it going but the best thing is it was a complete factory car, NO MODIFICATIONS. Also there is a guy in Venice the shop is named Z EXPERTS. They might also be able to put you onto a stock no mods S30. My point is you don't want to have to spend time money and effort chasing around after parts that you have no idea where to search for. If you buy the basic car and you open a repair manual everything should look like the illustrations in the book look. That with basic mechanical know how and before long you will be able to troubleshoot and fix most issues yourself while you drive it. I do like the suggestion of looking in Arizona and New Mexico. You can go and pick up a car over the weekend and be back to work on Monday and as well they are low humidity states. Good luck and don't be in a hurry.
