  1. Would a Braille lithium be an alternative? Found the link http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/114548-lightweight-longer-lasting-better-performing-lithium-battery-upgrade/page-2
  2. Duct tape, some radiator hose, fluids (quart of oil, gallon of water, brake fluid), tools, tarp, flashlight, and a blanket. I have a crash bucket in every vehicle in case I need it. In my truck I also carry recovery items just in case too.
  3. Paint job looks pretty good there. As long as your having fun, it's all that matters.
  4. There are quite a following for Zs in houston. Only one offhand that I can remember is AwesomeZ, that actually has a shop. Others could probably chime in with more info. You could possible do it yourself also, there are a few topics in the forum. Gotta dig for em tho. Grats also on acquiring a Z, looks very sharp.
  5. I have an old one that is a bit worn and seen better days. Your welcome to try it out and if it works, we can work something out if your willing to pay shipping first.
  6. Could always find a Z with the red interior running and paint it white. If you do not want to do that, I would keep just looking and expand the area of search and hopefully something pops up on your radar. Good Luck with the Z hunt.
  7. Only 1 of the rubbers were in decent condition. It is worn but serviceable. The 2 switches came out fine.
  8. LS1 Setup - Tennessee Was browsing around and found this setup, I am not ready for an LS1 setup yet but maybe else may be. Just posting in case anyone may be interested. http://memphis.craigslist.org/pts/4146488989.html
  9. I have a set in my parts car. I will pull them out tomorrow and send you a pic of what they look like if your still looking.
  10. That olive color would look sweet in metallic. Have you checked out metallic orange? If your are planning to do it yourself, you could save a ton of money. Me and a good buddy painted his car and did all the minor body work in my carport in 2 weekends. Primer, color, clear + knick knack junk cost us about $1500 or less. The tools we bought cost us a bit less, but we planned on doing 3 more cars in the next few years to offset that price.
  11. Went to check this out last week. The body is rusted in typical spots, lots of bubbling. Frame rail aren't rusted thru, but they are beat up from being lowered. The interior isn't horrible, dash is cracked. Car will crank but will not run. It was parked under a tree and seems rats got to the wiring and chewed up a few things. He does have a lot of spare parts,(distributors, injectors, Ttops). Tokico blue shocks, which seem pretty new, not much grime on them. He is pretty firm on the price. Good for a beater to fix, or more if interested in parting out. http://neworleans.craigslist.org/pts/4076499528.html
  12. I have a set of stock seats, passenger is near perfect, driver side is nice, but 1 rip on the seat. Lemme find the pictures and will PM you.
  13. Have fun Rob and be safe. Looking forward to see everything. If you need help lemme know.
  14. I can help a little bit also, only things I know so far is from what I been reading and researching. I am currently working on my welding skills with MIG and TIG. And what Rob said, I am located on the westbank. We all should one day just get together.
  15. Nice History. Hope you enjoy it and for the car to love you back for being MIA for all those years hehe.
