  1. well i put my new injectors in today but i'm still having some problems they are 450cc dsm injectors and when i put the constancies off the sticky it barely runs and will not rev up unless i open the throttle very slow if i open it kinda fast it just leas out and dies if i raise my PWM Time Threshold up to 4 it is much better it hesitates but that might go away when i tune it more is it ok to run it with a PWM Time Threshold of 4? could there be a problem with my injector drive? this is just like what was happening with my other injectors thanks
  2. i pulled the down pipe off and there is some oil so i think the turbo seal is done the smoke is gray and it is produced under all conditions at idle my wideband was reading 14-15 and it was smoking quite a bit
  3. my car smokes a lot but only after it is warm when i start it cold there is not one bit of smoke as soon as the coolent hits about 170ish the smoke just starts rolling out is this a sine of a turbo going bad i hope its the turbo because i don't want to pull the motor but i would like to replace that little t3 with a big holset thanks
  4. i just bought some new ones i got 6 450cc rebuilt and tested dsm injectors for just about as much as a local shop wants to rebuild my supras hopefully that takes care of some of my bugs thanks for the help
  5. when it have my laptop hooked to my ms the fan output light keeps blinking on and off i don't know why i have ms v3 msns-e fuel only
  6. yes there low that is why i confused a PWM Time Threshold of 5 is to high for low impedence injectors isn't it
  7. i just recently got my car running on ms1 v3 fuel only and i'm starting to tune it i have some supra 440cc in injectors i bought off ebay i have 2 problems 1. i cant get the car to run with a PWM Time Threshold under 5 it should be between 1 and 2 right? is it bad for the injectors to have it that high? i cant remember if i tried to start it when it was at 25 or whatever it is when you first start so i could have hurt them then 2. i checked the resistance on all of them 4 read 3.5 ohms and 2 read 5.8 ohms is this bad i'm asking because it is idling kinda rough and stumbles when i give it some throttle thanks

  12. today i was working on getting my car started i'm running ms1 v3 fuel only code and msd 6al for spark the first thing that tripped me up was i was not getting a tach signal i had the tach wire hooked up to the the output on my 6al i messed with it for a little bit the i decided to re jumper the reversed Zener diode to see if i could get a signal that worked will it hurt any thing to try and run it like that? i hope not after i jumped that i tried to start it and it acts like it wants to start as soon as i press the starter button it fires and then dies it only fires for 1-2 secs. i tried messing with it for a wile i fouled the plugs 1 or 2 times. setting hear thinking about it my thoughts are that i could have put the dizzy shaft 180 out or that diode/jumper could messing with it any info would help thanks
  13. where do i get the fuel only code and how do i download it to my ms? i have a ms1 v3 it has the msns-e code on it right now but i want to go with fuel only i've been having a hard time finding how to update my code thanks
  14. a 83zx dizzy has mechanical advance correct i grabed one form u-pull-it for $20 and i want to use it with some webbers and an msd 6al i just want to make sure i got the right one thanks
