  1. Chemistry for engineers was my Kryptonite in college. Never took chem is high school, too busy with art class. 300 of my closest friends in a lecture hall. Tiny Pakistani woman lecturing through a lapel mic. No "online" help in those days - just a 3" thick textbook. Weekly labs that were supposed to make sense of it all. Glad I had a really really smart girlfriend.... Ahh, Memories.
  2. Bet it is. Impact seems to travel end to end. My Mustang got rear-ended and later I found it broke the bellhousing casting and the tach mount .
  3. Your old guitar looks kind of like this guy's -
  4. found it here: http://datsunzgarage.com/borg/
  5. He's Back! Hide the silverware! Welcome.
  6. My guess is the "Liquid" portion of the air/fuel vapor can carry more heat that the gaseuos portion. More heat is moved in a rich mixture out the exhaust by its fluid movement instead of being absorbed by the metal of the engine block, head, and exhaust manifold(s).
  7. I think that's a condenser to prevent static noise through the radio. Not a high current-carrying part of the charging system.
  8. College is not for everyone. There is always.......employment in the service sector.
  9. Hopefully one with a DC output setting.
  10. Explains a lot. If you aren't moving enough fluid volume, the clutch slave won't move far enough to disengage.
  11. Another Link: http://www.v12diablo.co.uk/interior.htm Pretty ambitious Lamborghini Diablo replica. A lot of scratch-built interior bits, including the dash. Novel way to create the defrst ducts between 2 surfaces....

  14. Inspired! http://www.car-restoration.com/images/replicas/ferrari_250_GTO/ferrari.jpg Always like top and center on my Spitfire: I could fill up from the gas pump on either side of the car. Cool only if you don't care about drips on the paint!
  15. I bought the "Puckett" assembly manual about 12 years ago, for the education on stretching the S30 wheelbase from 90" to 94". There is a file of the sales flyer on Eric Neyerlin's site:
  16. http://richmond.craigslist.org/cto/2687720667.html Can you tell from the engine bay pic? thanks!
  17. Stock? Not the 60mm upgrade? PM me. I should have one, pulled from a running engine......
  18. OP is a re-seller of H4 lights.....ginning up business on any and all auto forums with a sensational "news" story.

  20. Lots of overhead wires mixed with big toppled oaks in our neighborhood: Power was out Saturday 6p.m. through Monday Cable out Saturday through Monday Telephone landlines out Saturday through Tuesday Have a small Honda generator for the essentials: water pump, fridge, microwave, and TV...no A/C. Watched an Indiana Jones 4-movie marathon. He's always in the desert or a jungle, so it "felt" right. If the iPhone could do laundry I'd be pretty comfortable.

  22. A 168 tooth starter will have staggered mounting bolt holes, A 153 tooth starter will have the holes in a straight line. If it has 2 sets of mounting holes, it can be used on either flywheel/flexplate.
