  1. So how much can these stock bottom ends deal with ? 400? 500?
  2. My 1985 Z31 Turbo "Occasionally" stumbles and "Blurbles" (is that a word?) only when cold and only occasionally. I've had guys on other forums tell me to check this and that (fuel pressure, CHTS etc) and I have never found a problem. Today, it occurred to me that it might be an intake "ICING" situation because the symptoms fit perfectly. 1). Only does it when cold (Never does it when fully warmed up) 2). Does not do it immediately when first starting. The engine must first run for about 2 minutes. (allows icing to form) 3). If I shut off the motor, wait 30 seconds or so, it starts and runs great, for about 20 seconds then starts stumbling again. 4). Does it only occasionally. As if the weather (temp, humidity) might be a factor. Does it more in the cooler, humid weather. Just a theory...but it fits well. Now if I could only figure out a place that could be prone to icing and a place where it would make enough difference to cause stumbling.
  3. Hello, I've been a Z owner for about 25 years. I currently have a 1985 Z31 Turbo running 9psi of boost and a 2.5 inch mandrel bent MagnaFlow Exhaust...otherwise stock. I rebuilt the motor about 40,000 miles ago and have a fresh transmission and water cooled turbo also with 40,000 miles. I live in Florida and just finished a strip down / rebuild of my girl a few months ago. Here she is.. What do you think?
