  1. NEXT IN LINE FOR NISMO HARNESS.

  2. What adhesive did you use to lay it down?
  3. I like the fact your using the smallest wheels that clear your brakes. Trust me, it was a wise decision.
  4. You can't fit the front wheels with the center cap. You should have went with the +04 offset instead. If you are using 5mm+ spacers I would recommend longer studs. Check challenger's thread in this same forum titled "Will I need longer studs."
  5. Cool video. I'm loving the elevation changes on that track but man, no room for error in almost all of it.
  6. You can never go wrong with the original 918 orange, but it's pretty hard to go wrong with a nice metallic dark silver/gun metal with black accents. I'm partial to the 918 orange, cause my Z is orange.
  7. Wow, just wow. ..With no care to wear a helmet at that. He's got some square balls man.
  8. Why did it take so long? And why don't more companies do it?!
  9. lol he was in the passenger seat this time.
  10. Probably a 1988 Lancia Delta Integrale with a bigazz turbo and fully done suspension/chassis work. I would also love to purchase an Audi S8 when I have large disposable amounts of income as a daily driver. I think that is the ONLY luxury sedan I would purchase, just because of the sheer ballerness of it.
  11. I was VERY impressed with this red when I saw a Lexus IS350 at the dealership in this color. The picture does not do justice at all, and it's not as light of a red as it looks here. It's called Matador Red Mica.
  12. Drop them an e-mail. Prices can vary with every car/customer depending on exactly the way they want things to be done.
  13. 88beast I suggest you search what it exactly takes to get it installed. An entirely new crossmember must be fabricated and welded in along with modified tranny mounts as well. Like others said intercooler must be mounted/piped, exhaust, driveshaft shortened, and all the electrical wired up. As far as a tach the stock one will not work and you need a new tach. I would recommend getting an electric speedometer as well. Just contact Adrian at www.vildinimotorsport.com. They'll be able to do all the work for you if need be.
  14. Don't worry it fits. I'm running vented toyota calipers with 16x8 Rota RB's +04 Offset. Here's a recent thread with some pics of the wheels: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=146389
  15. I had a chance to ride one a few group rides ago and man o man talk about different! It feels super challenging, which means fun, and it gives your upper body a hek of a work out too. It would be fun to build one soon for myself but the series of hills I love on top of makes me think twice, but I'll probably do it anyway.
  16. Oh and if anyone in the surrounding Los Angeles area would like to come to some bike rides with me and my brother, you can track where we're going and you can never get lost if you sign up for our twitter. These rides are tons of fun and a lot of them are just like a big party on bicycles. http://www.green-cycles.com/track
  17. Nice!!! That looks like a rocket, and btw I really dig that color. That was pretty funny when you were talking with the crowd LOL.
  18. So I've been a bicycling enthusiast for a pretty good time now, and usually ride a 79' Volkscycle and a Green eBike around for errands/work/group runs/fun. It's only been a few months since I've had my road bike but I just have to comment on how much I enjoy riding my bicycles instead of my car for commuting and was wondering if anyone else did the same? How many miles do you ride a day? What do you ride? Anyone living car-free? I started going to the gym the same time I started bicyling too. I've been in pretty amazing shape since I started 2 months ago and I have even less stress than I usually do cause I never have to deal with traffic/parking ever. The commute to my work is about 8 miles and takes me about 15 minutes with a car. I live up a series of hills and the commute TO work is always fast(), fun, and just overall pretty pleasurable, and takes me about 20 minutes flat with no sweat/fatigue. The ride back is great because it's a work-out to home, after work. But for a majority of the year the weather can be 90-105 degrees. I'm a waiter as my second job in a very nice restaurant and I must have a clean composure. I ride my electric bike on these days and for errands. I work two jobs and I'm pressed for time, so some days riding my bike I get a solid hour or more of cardio a day and don't have to go the gym or pay for gas. I also saved a total of $135 last month in gas costs so I'm pretty happy about that. Oh and don't worry, I still love to take the Z for a spin every other day. To keep it short, I just wanted to share with you something that has improved my overall quality on life, and was wondering if anyone else has done the same?
  19. So I was at the Willow Springs (streets) track, and at the end of my 2nd run, right before the end of the few turns on my cool down lap, my tach starts jumping along with my ignition. It stops and I'm just like "Okkk easy we just have like 200ft to go" and before I go into the pits it starts jumping like mad clearly having some sort of electrical failure and I had enough speed to roll the car engine off into the pits. Pop the hood, my battery's loose. I check connections and they are free, but man are they sinched. I touch the battery and it starts smoking like mad. My entire turn-signal/alternator ground starts burning off all the insulation releasing a giant cloud smoke from my engine bay. I run and get the fire extinguisher from the car, and I pull the pin and try it and nothign! The pressure leaked out and I wasn't aware of it. DOH! So I yell out, "FIRE!!!!!" And my neighbors run up and start pouring water on the whole harness that's practically on fire. As they pour the water bottle, the emotions on my face is straight out of a movie and I'm just like, "NoooOOOOooo!!!" Then my other neighbor comes with a fire extinguisher, but he was too late, the damage was done. So I check every possible damn thing before I touch it again, and I find the damn factory battery tray has both terminals attached to it. So I slowly make sure the tie down was free. And ever so gently lift the tray off the battery. It grounds and becomes BURNING RED HOT.(Isn't that just wonderful?) While I hold the terminals up and out of the way of the continuing burning carnage being done to my precious, precious car. The track crew arrived right in time with proper gloves to lift the battery out of the engine bay and out of the car. I take a look at my clothes and they all have holes in them. My favorite pair of jeans had tons of holes in it, along with holes directly over the logo of my "I  my datsun Z" shirt. Fantastic! So the tie down rod on the battery tray was so hot it burned a hole right through the battery and poured out a good amount of battery acid onto the harness, you know, because it could definitely take some more punishment. So to cut it short I managed to get the car running off the battery, not touching turn signals/headlights or anything really. Charged up the battery and made the 80 mile drive home with 80lb's of tools/stuff in my trunk with my brother. By the way, I had to drive with only a left turn signal on(because it was stuck on) for the last 12 miles in the night. Yea it's fixed and the battery is properly mounted.
  20. Your best bet is get another 240z with a full interior. You can easily find a new one for the price of buying everything new from thezstore, much cheaper actually.
  21. I don't run any spacers anymore. I only ran them on the front to fill out the fender. Wanna buy a set of 4 7mm spacers from me for free? Only two are used. Just pay $4 shipping. I'm in a good mood today.
