  1. It is El Monte airport. I'm lucky to have a friend who rented a hangar over there... I'll let you know if I get a chance to do another shoot. Thanks. TURK

  5. All I know is that, between the two gas stations the trip odometer showed 164 miles(all highway). I didn't bother checking the gas mileage on my way back because I left in the afternoon and there was heavy traffic. 91 octane gas.70-75 mph average. Automatic car with 115K miles. I didn't use the cruise control either. It was a miracle
  6. I have a '98 Z-28 Camaro as a daily driver. It's automatic. A friend of mine and I decided to go to Vegas the other day. To avoid traffic, we left around 4 in the morning. I filled up the tank and immediately got on the freeway. 70-75 mph average speed, all the way to Baker. No traffic. We decided to pull over at a gas station. Get some coffee. Now, here's the funny thing: We had travelled exactly 164 miles from Pasadena to Baker. The gas gauge showed a little more than 3/4. Out of curiosity, I've decided to fill up the tank. 3.88 gallons. It wouldn't take any more. That's over 41 miles per gallon! Is that normal? I usually get around 300 miles with a full tank, city+hwy... The car is NOT for sale....
  7. Nice! I've got the same setup with MSA headers and Magna Flo exhaust... I have to notify my neighbors the night before if I have to start it early in the morning...They've been very kind and "understanding" so far... Yes, it is quite LOUD!!! -TURK-
  8. I made a mistake...Picture belongs to Auxilary not Aziza Z... Thanks Auxilary.... Any photoshop questions?...Just post your questions here...
  9. Yes,it's Leno's car and FYI I'm still learning English... But,I'm happy to have entertained you with a simple error... My wife is all female...
  10. My wife has a new job and one of her co-workers drives another car to work every day... I'm not gonna tell you who he is but I'm sure if you recognize the car, you might know its owner...a -TURK-
  11. All black with tinted lights and windows...
  12. Although it's not everyone's favorite design, I think you need a Chevy Avalanche...Newer the better...
  13. After seing all these great engines, my L24 looks very boring... What you can't see is new headers...
  14. check out this website: http://www.collectablediecast.com Adam and Eli Call them and ask them for help if you need to...I don't think anybody else will give you a better price than these guys... ERIC
  15. They don't know what the heck they are talking about... And what do they mean with "obligatory rust buckets"? One of my favorites at JCCS was the custom carbon fiber bodied 1st gen civic(?-not sure) with Hayabusa engine... BTW, they actually know it's an L block...
  16. I saw the video and yes it is stupid. You might be the best driver ever but you never know who you share the road with... About the color of the car. I really can't tell what color it is...
  17. It's a second generation "round shot"...Earlier ones were made of stone. It might be from early 1800's or it might be a replica used for reenactments. Either way I don't think it would be worth much...Put it in your study or something... ERIC
  18. We have 100 octane gas in Pasadena, Ca... 76 station, corner of Arroyo PkWy and Glenarm...It's also exactly where the 110 Fwy ends...It's about $6/gallon or maybe less...
  19. For this kind of work, Photoshop 7 should get the job done. I used 7,a few years ago. I can't remember if it had the "history" option and some other stuff-certain effects etc. Just to change color and other simple stuff, 7 should be more than enough...
  20. I don't use CMYK... I used to, for silkscreen color separation purposes. That was years ago... For better color quality I recommend RGB. Garvice is losing the detail not because of the color mode but because he didn't adjust "LEVELS" among some other things. I'm guessing, his car is light color, white, yellow, silver etc.... ERIC
  21. Body: British Racing Green with a single gold stripe Engine compartment: British Racing Green Engine block: Gold, same as the stripe. The rest of the engine: Black and chrome or aluminum. I like british racing green, that's how I would do it... ERIC
  22. Thanks guys... As you might know I used to work for a toy car company as a graphic designer. Now I started my own business with a friend. We apply hi-tech, top of the line vinyl graphics on vehicles in Los Angeles area. BTW I made the second one because I thought Stony was building a race car (judging by the pro street tires) Fender mirrors and door handles were removed for that reason. I wanted to give the car a smoother look... Stony, Do you have a name for your car?..Will you put any numbers on it?...If you're building a race car let me know, I'll add some more grphics to that second design... ERIC
  23. Here you go... sorry I didn't have time to put together a new tutorial but I managed to make these two... I hope these help... Thanks Aziza Z for the picture... ERIC
  24. Hi Stony... I know you can't easily get rid of the checkerboard graphics on photoshop but then again, you don't have to use pictures of your own car. I'll put together another thread regarding this issue. Two-toning your car on photoshop... ERIC
