Hey guys im brand new to the forum i signed up just to ask for help on this topic, so hopefully some one can help me out! OK so ive been looking into swaping an rb25det into a Nissan d21 hardbody pick up or a datsun 720 pick up. I know it can be done ive seen quite a few of them on the web. Before i continue i also want to say that i know an sr20det would be way easier but im looking to do something unique and every one and there brother has an sr20. So my qustions are does any 1 know of a good complete write up on this swap? Would there be more fitment issues on the datsun vs the nissan ? Wiring on Datsun VS Nissan ? How much cutting/welding is involved if any? The nissan hardbodys ive seen are all 4wd, could i use a 240sx front axle? or maybe make the rb25 or even a rb26 work with the awd? Any help at all would be greatly appriceated .
