  1. Hi, I've searched through all the topics but I haven't really found the information I needed. So pretty much I'd like some help with how to exactly wire an Autometer speedometer to my SR20DET If it helps here are the autometer installation manual and the SR20 ecu wiring diagram: http://www.ctech.ca/npclub/npclub/reparation/ecu-diagram.jpg http://autometer.com/download_instruction/2650-1164-00rA.pdf Thanks in advance.
  2. Okay so here's the background info. My brother and I've wired up the sr20 into a 78 280z and it ran for a while until the ignition switch fusible link went out. My brother's friend saw it was fit to just use a regular wire instead of using another fusible link... And so the problem started. Now, the fuel pump doesn't turn on when the switch is on. Also the engine doesn't crank when turned to start. I've made sure the relays and ignition switch function properly, so I'm at a dead end of ideas and troubleshooting methods. Please give me any advice on how to troubleshoot it, what parts may have been damaged, and let me know if you need any other info that'll help. Thanks in advance.
  3. Problem Solved! I'm officially part of the SR20 Z members!
  4. Thanks a lot guys. I just bought an sr20 maf from ebay. I'll let you know how it goes. Now all I have to do is wait for shipping...
  5. So I was talking to my friend about this, and I forgot to mention that I have a Z32 MAFS on it. He thinks that is the source of the problem since the ECU is tuned to the stock sr20 MAF. Can anyone confirm this? If it is could I tune my ECU in some way and how? Thanks again and sorry for the nubness.
  6. Thanks for that. It made sense, but when I connect it the car dies after about 15 seconds. Any ideas as to what's going on?
  7. Alright Ill look into those. Here's a pic of that open hose and a pick of the engine bay. Anyone know where the hose is supposed to connect to? Also I have a walbro 255 fuel pump, I haven't gotten around to timing but ill try after checking everything else, my sr is a blacktop s13, I removed all the emissions stuff, and the only add-ons i have are the hks bov and an intercooler. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v732/tightpinoyboy23/?action=view&current=DSC04989.jpg http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v732/tightpinoyboy23/?action=view&current=DSC04991.jpg
  8. Hi All, So I've been nearing the end of my sr20 swap into my 280z and have come to sort of a dead end. I can start the car up and it idles just fine, but when I open the throttle a little it dies on me. A couple things that maybe noteworthy are that I currently don't have a throttle cable hooked up. There's a hose coming from the intake manifold that I have open to air. I thought it goes to the intercooler piping, but when I connect it to that the car stalls after a bit. Let me know what you guys think I should do to troubleshoot this, and if you need more info for a diagnoses let me know. Thanks in advance.
