  1. i understand what your talking about. I have the front guide in and i also have what is called the 3rd arm adjustment in as well. I'm pretty sure its probably just a bolt with a washer on it that goes into the rear of the upright track to keep it from falling forward and coming out of the the front track and out of the rear on rolling it up. i remeber taking a nut lose that was very thin from the second picture where the hole is. I wish someone on this site had there door panel off and could show me exactly what i miss placed
  2. i think it may very well be a bolt with a washer that goes into the track in the framework to keep the door glass from falling forward but it doesn't go straight in the hole it goes to the side to the framework to the left. i remember unscrewing a very thin nut off the front of this hole. it is not a regulator or 3rd arm adjustment bolt
  3. at the bottom of the doorglass frame see the hole. i remember a flat nut that i had to take loose but i think it had a bolt that went toward the window track to keep it from tilting forward. Thats all i can show to help. i can't believe i miss placed this stuff.
  4. I took out my door glasses over a year ago to slowly get the body ready for paint. well now its painted and after putting the door glasses back in i'm missing a slide bolt that if your looking at the bottom of the door glass it has a metal frame bolted to the door glass. At the rear of the metal frame at the bottom theres a bolt that keeps the doorglass from rolling forward and dropping the front down. please help!!! I can try to get a picture to help Thank you
  5. I'm going to be pulling my dash soon to put all phantom gauges in. My dash is pretty rough didn't know if the fitment on the covers are really good or am I just better buying a new dash?
  6. Hey guys, I’m slowly putting my Z back together after taking it apart over a year ago to do body work and paint. I put the door glasses back in and I seem to be missing like a slide bolt or something that goes on the bottom right of the door glass frame to keep the door glass from falling forward and out of the back of the track. I’m attaching a pic of what I’m talking about and hopefully someone has a pic that can help me. I’ve looked for a pic but had no luck. Thanks. Also attached a pic of my 2jz-gte 260z project
  7. Before I go buy new I figured I'd give this a shot first if the price is right! I own a 75 260z
  8. Whatelse can I use other then the manual trans for my 2jz-gte swap. Figured I could use part of the driveshaft. Didn't know if I could use anything else since I have the whole car.
  9. I've seen some on ebaymotors on cars people are parting out. I'm guessing there Aftermarket because I've never seen one before? Just curious if any one here has them? How was the fitment? Are they plastic or fiberglass? My car is a 75 260z if that even matters. Thanks
  10. Like the title says. Rust free please! Thanks
  11. Not sure if this is where to post this but I'd like to get new front fenders for my 75 260z and want a really good fitment. Hoping some of you could tell me a good company to deal with. Don't mind paying extra for the quality. Thanks in advance
  12. I have a l28 with 5 speed trans that's nice in tight no grinding at all. Don't know actual milage on motor but does run. Carve could be gone through because its hard to start but once started runs good. Needs a header gasket. I bought it because the body is solid but I'm not using the motor and trans. I'm in va near king george if you want to take a road trip to see it and drive it before I yank the motor and trans out. I'll sell it all to you for $400. Let me know
  13. Ok. Thanks for the info man! Were you able to use that manual tranny or did you swap out to a r154?
  14. Looking on ebay a lot of the jdm-gte with a 5 speed there using an automatic ecu. Does this pose a problem? Also if you get a 2jz-gte vvti with the drive by wire is it okay as long as you get an ecu for the vvti?
