wwoww...haven't seen one of those in a long time. I had one on my 76 Z a long time ago. I always had oil issues with it and those annoying little fuseable links thingy's...I will look thru my file. I might still have the booklet for the installation of the BAE turbo set-up. Mine was purchased and installed through Bob Sharp Racing back in 1979...

I have been searching for 15 years for a white with blue interior Z. Last september 2008 I found what I was searching for on EBAY. It was sitting in upper Michigan in a guy's garage for more than 15yrs...the car has had 2 owners all its life and never restored. It started life in Long Beach California...the original owner traded in a 1968 Corvette because her golf clubs didn't fit, so she drove into a Datsun store, the white Z with blue interior sat on the showroom floor for just 1 day and she drove it home....for the next 22 years of its life it drove 45,000 miles to and from most of the golf courses in southern california carrying golf clubs and sweaty women...in 1992 she sold it to the guy in Michigan who saw it at the end of her driveway forsale and he bought it with a set of golf clubs that were her late husbands...For the next 16 years the 2nd owner who owned a bodyshop only drove my car on nice sunny days and never really did anything to it because he didn't want to change the car at all to just leave it as it was...so I got it just before the 2008 Convention in Cleveland Ohio...the end of the Z season out here and drove it to the convention. This is by far the nicest 240z that I have ever owned. It is completely original, completely rustfree and just a blast to drive. It gets 25 miles to a gallon plus. It has the original "Monkey motion" 4 spd and from driving it I will leave it in this car...The seats and door panels needed replacements, I replaced the seats with a set of blueish greenish seats that some idiot ripped me off from TX...they will do for now. (I'm looking for anything blue interior btw). I've replaced the original aftermarket 14x7 aluminum 5 hole slots with a set of period correct lightweight 6 hole dished slots, a set of BFG TA radials, NGK sparkplug wires, K&N filters, ANSA exhaust pipe and polished the Nissan 2400 ohc valve cover....thats it... 1st picture) after I picked it up... 2nd picture) as it is today blue interior...

I'm in the chicago area...I look around alot on craigslist and man would I love to live in LA, your cars are in pristine shape body wise and the prices aren't ridiculous like in the midwest here... $3000 for a nice car and $7500 for cars anywhere else would be $10k plus...

have kinda the same problem...the right marker light is out, the right turn signal is out and the right horn is out...everthing else like the headlight front marker light tail light and brakelight on the right works....grrrrr

I have a dash mold being made on the S30 280z dash and will be doing a 240z dash next. I will be offing them in Carbon Fiber. I will post pics when they are finished and will be offing them forsale sometime this fall...just in time for Xmas.

they are different in the front especially around the top corners of the windshield... i found out the hard and expensive way and now have to pull my windshield again...

getting my engine done...3.1 stroker setup and I'm currently using triple 40mm Mikuni carbs(might be selling them soon for...) but most likely adding the triple ITB FI set-up to the car. Rebuilt the 5spd trans, adding new Konig Sport 17" wheels, new custom work done to the stereo is being done now, with a custom subwoofer boxes and new amp location it should look and function alot better...just finished the coilovers front and rear(need to be installed when the rest of the parts are made), adding a new Billet Mustache bar(made it myself and I will have them available as soon as a few more are produced) and I'm working on my billet A-arms...other than that a friend of mine is making a carbon fiber dash and console to complete the interior upgrades....been a busy winter...but should have everything done by HIN Chicago in June
