  1. To fix my V8-Z overheating issue, I just bolted a small air dam (stainless steel) to the bottom of the aluminum radiator core support strap, bent it slightly forward and curled the edges like a scoop. It catches air moving under the air dam (hangs 1/2 inch lower than the air dam) and deflects the air up to the radiator core. I haven't had a problem since. Hope that helps you.
  2. Thanks Paul! I'll let you know if I can't find a Turbo one. You know they have that 'highly' functional hood scoop!!
  3. I've been looking for a hood for a buddy's 84 300zx turbo, it just needs to be at least in fair condition, HELP!!
  4. Probably need a new voltage regulator, or battery is so bad it can't take a charge
  5. My daily driver is an 03 Silverado SS w/a 6.0 and a Radix intercooled Magnacharger. I'll have to say that thing blows my mind every time I punch it all 4 wheels go up in smoke. I consistantly red line it and it never complains! I run 9 psi of boost but, even before the supercharger it was an amazingly powerful engine, and smooth!! I'm going to put this setup in burrl after this season. 6.0, 4L60E, rock solid! :icon2:
  6. I'd replace the points and condensor/s
  7. I have one in my 240 V-8, it came out of an 88 300zx SE w/ an automatic, and it had a finned cover. I would be careful, I thought all the LSD's had finned covers and were only avail in the 88 turbo SE automatic cars. I searched high and low for mine and saw lots of donors.
