  2. Jobs never really had them so. Looking for some cheap priced suspension parts shocks and springs for the 240Z. Please No i mean no worthless post of i got this stuff but i need 1000 dollars plus shipping, Looking to spend under 300 for some decent none blown compressed items. I'm not going to drive my 240Z tell i can get these items plus some bushings later in time do to the Z will hoop from lane to lane if i hit the smallest bump and i don't want a crash and hurt people this is one of the main reason for not getting my engine running it would be tempting to drive then.
  3. I always see people posting about connecting rods from ebay but never hear of any one using them. Check these out 140mm rods. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200944342855?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Then there are these rods that look to have 3 wrist pin oil holes there 133mm. http://www.ebay.com/itm/400482650317?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  4. Thanks for the info Tony D, I am going go with the cam tower replacements and valve train from another head, The cam in the head now has some messed up lobe on numbers 1 and 5 , Wondering will the cam shaft work as a arbor good enough to a line the cam tower bearings ?
  5. The camshaft in this head i bought on ebay would not turn to good so i took the cam out to get a better look and here is a few pictures on what was going on, Would this have happened do to some thing getting in to the bearing area or is the head warped?
  6. would this kit work ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/390706276617?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  7. I would like to get a setup that uses all bolts with washers and no nuts but the grade of metal and size of the bolt heads and washers has me in a infinite guessing search 2000 pages and am still hunting for info, Main thought is that rear stud for number 6.
  8. For the street just get 10:1 Cr i say and use a L24 crank to get quicker RPM response , The motor i been day dreaming about L24 with L20A crank with long rods and thin forged pistons with E31 or early E88 head CNC/ed to perfection all in the hopes of building a L6 to hit F1 sounds, Being a recluse and a neet that plays video games and watches anime all day i know this may never happen or it will take tons more time the day dreams are great.
  9. Wish more then any thing they would mod that gear drive to work with stock L6 heads.
  10. I see that the video has been edited but that is going to be a bit of work to put all the clips and things back on seeing that he would have to remove quite a bit of parts to get the clips and rocker hold downs back on , Those dual fuel pressure regulators would be good for keeping a good fuel pressure across all 3 carburetors wonder what types of psi setting those fuel pressure regulators have and with two pumps has me wondering it there is surge tank pressurized some where in the line.
  11. When the owner of this Skyline removes the rocker cover I saw that there was a bunch of hardware not there to hold the rocker arms in place , Does this help with any thing not having the extra hardware could it make for problems later on? Rocker cover removal @ 1:24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs9ICe-gIzc
  12. Seen some on napa back 4 years ago.
  13. Only thing i ever heard on this vapor stuff is the gas has to be heated then you can get the 100mpg stuff but all info has been payed for and licensed by the thing we all warship oil company's and there products . What about the setup where you have some cylinders run as a super charger ? Electric car only if it was powered off of the extra power with in the body that chair Nikola used to sit in but then again he did make a car that ran from stuff in the air or from the earth or space and other . Shoot if you really want to run on nothing just use the net its all there and stuff .... but for some reason like most i to need to burn that fuel .

  20. Could you no put a oil cooler in the back with oil in it to feed the turbo or would that need a pump still or does the turbo not have enough power to suck is oil from the oil cooler its self , Hearing about this setup makes me wonder has any one done a twin turbo setup with the turbo in the engine bay and a turbo in the rear ?
