Building a 71, does the rear spoiler make it worse? Replacing everything in the rear and siliconing all the holes

So was thinking about the exhaust fume issue? So I wonder how far back I need to go past the rear valance? And any tricks to keep it out?

Any one do both sides out the middle? I raised the fuel cell up in the car about 5 inches so you can't see it from the back because I wanted plenty of room in the center of the car for the twin outlet,,, was wondering if any one had a similar set up I could see?
