  1. Thanks for the info. I searched for a while and couldnt find anything specific to oil types. Do you use synthetic or conventional?
  2. Hey guys I have a 1972 Datsun 240z. Now i know i know, i said 280z in the title. That is because the car got an engine swap with a 280z from the previous owner. The chassis has a little over 60,000 miles on it, and the engine has roughly 100,000. I was wondering what brand, oil weight, oil type (synthetic/conventional/semi-synthetic) that you guys would prefer for this mid to high mileage engine. Im sure a lot of people would benefit form this thread. Any sort of input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! -Jack
  3. Hey guys, Im building a custom SBC 383 stroker. Its really just a 350 block that has been made to accomodate a longer stroke crank if you guys haven't heard of it. What I'm stuck on now, is what cam to get. I don't know what duration size would be best, and whether or not a hydraulic roller, or hydraulic tappet would perform better. The car is going to be used for everyday driving, and drag racing. I'd like to get a wide RPM range if possible but whatever works. Iv'e seen some other people asking this question with little to no feedback so I think this will be beneficial to all. Thanks -Jack
