  1. yeah yeah i got the anniversary wrong way to go heres a cookie...thats the least important thing about my post you should be proud of yourself...lol jk im not that big of a jerk thanks for droppin some knowledge guys i appreciate it
  2. your assumptions are correct and i was talking about what the stock engine could handle hp wise. Like my L28et can handle anything up to almost 400hp with the right tune (depending on parts of course) before i have to go with forged pistons and whatnot. Im just seeing on what to expect with this car once he gets it.
  3. my buddy is looking to pick up a fully running everything works 52nd anniversary Z31 with a VG30DET. I havent been on this side of the forums for very long now and i was wondering without having to sift through 3 hours of nonsens to find a simple answer. How much can this engine put out without having to do anything internally and also if you can what are its weaknesses
  4. well i think we can use those quick steering knuckles end links like this
  5. those mixed with the front lower control arms would make for some mean steering angle
  6. I need a L28et electronic Dizzy preferably 82-83 if someone could help me id be greatfull
  7. i got a new question does anyone know how well old stock valve springs last over time and against elongated high revs? and where can i get some new ones besides Kameari (kinda expensive) lol
  8. about to install it on your Z? or 240sx? if Z im really interested in how it turns out
  9. i have a build thread called 280z drift or somthing along those lines you should check it out
  10. yeah i have a lot to learn so i am putting this all together gingerly and hoping for the best. I am also traveling to St.Louis to go to a reputable tuner so i will have professional help when it comes to the tuning. and as for my remark sorry about that i just get frustrated when everyone wants to drop knowledge and not answer any of my questions or just be a jerk and after the 10th post of that happening it gets tiring so sorry about that.
  11. thanks for your knowledge it is appreciated
  12. o didnt see that post above mine thanks
  13. Ok in that picture it is used to launch a car it is not being used for more than lets say idk if its locked all the way down the track 10 seconds . also wich R200 is that car using?? The diff im gonna use will be able to not only withstand 10 seconds but literal minutes of being fully locked. It also has to be consistent i cannot have it unlocking and locking randomly on me. Now assuming he is using the 300xz diff ive heard from 240sx owners that Vlsd's arent good for drifting they are inconsistent. i want to use my longnose R200 So i go back to my question will a 240sx lsd fit in the carrier i have?
  14. thanks but im now wondering if a 240sx aftermarket LSD if it will fit in the R200 longnose 2 pinion open diff carrier out of a 77 manuall 280z ( one like this http://www.frsport.com/KAAZ-SAN2655-2-WAY-LSD-LIMITED-SLIP-DIFFERENTIAL-S13-240SX-91-94_p_8780.html because my bro has one in his 240sx and i love it plus im not sure if the Z31 clsd can hold up to drifting or if it can be consistent enought
