  1. A bit of a blast from the past but: Kaaz make a new r180 lsd (available from SWR) I've just ordered one of the OS Giken units from otomoto as well ($$$).
  2. Just measured mine today on a set of longacre cross weights. 1075kg Forgot the cross weights, but front rear is very close to 51:49 and 50:50 side with me sitting in it. The measured weight is with 1/4 tank, spare, mild steel rollbar, stripped interior, 15x8.5 watanabes and street tyres, racing buckets, and a triple webered L24. I havent tried too hard in the weight loss department, so there's plenty of room for improvement!
  3. before people roast you in hell, 1. this is the brakes, wheels, suspension and chassis section as opposed to the 'classifieds'. 2. You may have more luck with the Ozdat classifieds, or any of the local NSW Z clubs 3. you spelled bilstein wrong
  4. looks great. just out of interest, what sort of fasteners did you use to secure those flares?
  5. Cheers for that! should have known the simple solution was going to be the right one.
  6. I bought 4 of these some time ago 2nd hand, and have only got around to installing them now. Only problem being I don't have the installation template on where to drill the mounting points etc. Does anyone have this handy? Have tried emailing ground control and previous owner to no avail. My model is the same one on gc's website- 4 bolt, under strut tower and requires cutting. thanks p.s. was having a browse in the local albums and found this I thought the plates went underneath the strut tower!
  7. seriously now, i like that design as well, and i'm in australia. where do you want me to send the funds
  8. press 'album' button up top go to > picture gallery then > upload pics If that doesnt work, I can link you to some other Z sites with galleries. *pm for you regarding this interesting conversion.

    SR20 or RB

as far as block strength goes, the rb is obviously stronger. besides..the rb20 sounds a heck of a lot better than the sr20. Both engines love to rev especially the rb20. go the rb!
  10. phwoar! sounds like a monster! I'll see how it goes against the 350z. Will be picking up that video in january. p.s i think the shocks are made by arogasta. Not so sure about the "eggplant" wheels though.
  11. http://s-garage.hp.infoseek.co.jp/s30z.htm Anyone know any further info on this car. It is being featured on the latest Hot Version Volume, pitted against a 350z. Looks like a L28 with ITB's and rather wide rubber. I would love to translate that URL as well, but unfortunately the babelfish link is not working for some reason.
  12. previously, the apexi power FC could only use a MAP sensor if you got some special "japanese only" tuners edition of the power FC (not for sale outside the homeland). However, last i heard they have released an updated version of the power FC which allows u to use MAP sensors now. The power FC is good at what it does, and has the convenience of easy installation.
  13. the toyota 2jz engine is a very fine engine, I have no doubt it can handle more hp than the rb. stock for stock, the 2jz is a lot more tractable than the rb engine and also has an added advantage of a larger capacity. the rb26 does love to rev though, and it all comes down to what suits you more.
  14. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! lol...what a comical story though.. hope they resurface again somehow..!
