  1. Yes, I did that mod over ports 5&6. I went by some photos from X64V that he posted in the head cooling thread. Just use 1/4 NPT, but make sure that you don't drill too low to interfere with the exhaust manifold flange

  2. Haha! Yeah, I was too exited making those videos and was probably still on 20 shots of espresso from work :bonk:

That is awesome you keeping the ZXR!!

Can't wait to give you a ride in my (currently) non-turbo'd turbo car to the Historic Races tomorrow :burnout:

  3. Interested! need to know price shipped to oregon 97071.
  4. Thanks xenon your zxr list helps alot.Looks like I have number 367 out of the lot.Still havent got my blown head gasket fixxed but started tearing into it and found that someone removed both rocker arms for cylinder four.So no wonder the head gasket blew and it ran like Cr@#.
  5. Looks good, like the paint scheme.Did you ponder the thought of losing the sunroof. They just ruin the lines of the Z cars in my opinion.Otherwise sweet!
  6. Whooooa! Thanks Z-ya I didnt realize until further investigating that the N47 has the same valves as the N42.I can just use my N47 valves off my current motor.I checked The Datsun Garage for that. http://www.geocities.com/zgarage2001/z.html Cool.
  7. Ya I was hoping I wouldnt have to do the "P90 head shave Mod" but I guess I will have to shave it the .100 thou. and run the N42 valves.Any body have some good N42 valves they can part with cheap? That or I will have to buy the stainless from ArizonaZcar.com for around 200 bucks.
  8. I found this site. http://falconperformance.sundog.net/compcalculator.asp And calculated with a 1mm gasket,.030 overbore.3.50in. gasket opening,3.39in. bore,3.11 stroke, didnt know deck heigth so I went with 0 and flattops with no valve reliefs, and 53cc combustion chambers.Couldnt do the stock 53.6cc and came up with 9:1. So adding the .6cc and some more taken out due to unshrouding valves Im probably more like 8.5:1 with the 1mm gasket.I think Im going to be stuck with shaving the head.Bummer.I used the mm to inch chart at www.metric-conversions.org to help.
  9. I have a F54 turbo block and a set of new flattop .030 ITM pistons to put in it.Other than surfacing the P90 for flatness I dont want to shave the head and open that can of worms If a thinner head gasket will give me the compression I need.Does anyone here know what compression roughly I will have with the P90-flattops and a thinner head gasket.I would like to do better than the 8.8:1 with normal head gasket.1mm or 2mm? I searched and didnt find anything.
  10. Never mind I saw Yoaks pics and it shows the covor.Different ? though.Does the ZXR have a R180 or R200 rearend.I think I want to install a 3.70 geared R200 if possible.
  11. http://www.zcarcreations.com/howto/maxifuse.htm Try this
  12. Anybody with a ZXR on here could you take a pic of engine bay for me and post on here.I would like to know which cam covor/valve covor they are suppose to have.Someone put a turbo one on my car.
  13. It has a water leak.I think the windshield leaks.Pulled all the carpet and the only rust is in the spare tire well and its not bad.Going to buy new carpet kit after I fix leak.use some bedliner spray in spare tire well.Im not going to turbo the car.I want to just keep it N/A.But do mods to get it running good and strong.Start with the turbo block I have and am porting the P90.Cam,header,240sx TB,turbo injectors,Port and polish.Flat top pistons.
  14. Thanks Hugh.Im thinking to get it up and going sooner than later I might try surfacing the stock head and flush the motor and get it going. Then just take my time and do it right with the turbo block and P90 head. Then just swap motors when its done.I dont envy you your wolf install etc.etc..You got your hands full on that one. That carbon fiber link doesnt seem to be there anymore to hayameperformance.com? Anyway have my carbon fiber stero mount cut out.It looks good.I probably have enough of the carbon fiber left If you wanted to use that behind your stero. Its .2mm thick adhesive backed. Can cut with sharp scissors.Very hard stuff (real)..stuff.
  15. Here they are. Finally some pics of my zxr.Paid 900 bucks for it.Needs motor work.Water in oil.
