  1. I like the idea of having all that space under there. I don't think I was made to work on the floor, but because I have to, might as well try to make it roomy... you guys mean something like this? http://www.chiefautomotive.com/manuals/WheelStandsUsersMan.pdf doesn't look like it gives you enough clearance, but it's a start. Anyone have any luck?
  2. when I get to the body work, I'm shavin' her nice and smooth
  3. It's very confusing to try to read what you're writing. Try to not rant and take your time to convey the meaning of your thoughts. should you have listed "all the crap that cost over 4000 ionto the truck last year?"... yes... how is anyone going to know it's on there from the pics you've posted? You just posted on CL yesterday, be patient... repost with more pics, list the work and additional "crap" on the truck and change the price if you think it's worth more. If you need a quick sell because you're in a pinch, then state that. Buyers love it when someone needs to offload something quickly. just my $0.02
  4. it's not oil, it's sweat... dude sweats like I do after playing soccer or doing someone's mom, but not after playing guitar haha... what the hell? is he playing guitar in a turkish bathhouse or somethin? he's creepy
  5. I'm interested in checking out this set up... I'll check back later tonight.
  6. thanks for all the input, I can always cound on this site for great advice and sound technical discussion... I hope to go for about 300hp and use it for a weekend driver, no track or autox time. thanks again!
  7. so, how's the build coming? did you ever get going on this project?
  8. After reading up a bunch on brake swaps for my 240z (the brake sticky and the FAQ by jmortensen), I'm confused. The jmortensen says stock brakes are good enough, yet everyone upgrades. So would slotted and drilled make a difference with the stock calipers or is a better set up either the Toyota swap, toyota vented or the Z31 set up? I need to buy a new master cylinder anyway, so I'm thinking to get the 15/16 master cylinder for a brake upgrade. I know i'm going rear discs for sure. What would be the best bang for the buck then for a weekend driver, of course in your opinion? slotted and drilled for stock or TOyota 4x4 solid or toyota vented or Z31 set up or full aftermarket (e.g. wilwood)?
  9. pabst blue ribbon mr. roper or mr. furley?
  10. Thanks... I've taken pictures of all the spots where I've found rust, even after getting under the car to change the oil, no rust on the frame rails. I'm happy for sure
  11. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but since we're talking antirust coatings I thought I might bring it up. Anyone know much about MasterSeries products? (http://www.nomorerust.com/ & http://www.masterseriesct.com/). I've only seen and heard good things, but I don't see it mentioned much on here. Most rust conversation is dominated by Por-15 and Zero Rust. I guess this Master Series stuff is used on steel bridges and industrial applications. Looks legit to me. Any thoughts?
  12. Here are some more pics of her... Just done some basic maintenance so far... I think it was a pretty solid buy and I'm excited to get going on it... here you go...
