  1. Have you been searching everywhere for Blinker Fluid or Muffler Berrings well check this site to find them all. (good for a laugh) http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=products_all
  2. well i have posted this question on a VW forum aswell and pretty much what everyone is saying is to go mid-engine with it. and loose my back seat. which i guess is ok as they are pretty much pointless except for children and midgetts.
  3. well see what i am hoping to do is put the engine in the trunk and put a fuel cell under the decklid and maybe use a 240sx rear end i still have a stock 4 spd trans. so maybe this will work.
  4. Not sure if this is in the correct place. But i have a '73 VW Super and it handles great but is lacking in the HP department, but i do have a l28et sitting in the shed. I was wondering if anyone had ever seen this done and where i may be able to find links. Thanks, Chris
  5. i guess that would make sense. and as for other parts when i am putting this thing back to gether shoulg anything alse be changed from OEM (ie. berings...) or will direct replacments from black dragon be ok?
  6. So should i try to find some turbo pistons or would i be better off just to spring for some forged pistons and what price range am i looking at for each? also 1 fast z since you are a head guy take a look at another thread i started and see if you can give some insight there. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=133489
  7. so can i just get some turbo rings and be fine? And i have heard that the P79's flow the same as the P90 and would there be any really noticible power loss w/ the p79?
  8. I was wondering if these are the same as the L28ET dished pistons? They are from my 77 L28E w/ the N42 head so early. And was going to turbo it and just trying to make sure that they would be ok? Thanks, Chris
  9. OK so there was lots of threads on the L28Et in a s13 but noone ever gave an update as to weahter the projects were complete and how they are holding up. And fun factor vs. s30? And Pallnet you need to do a thread on a l28 s13 start to finish! And will a r33 xmember work aswell?
  10. Thanks that is good news maybe i will go pick up my head then i didn't want to pay to pick it up if it wasn't going to work. If i could just get a few more oppinions that would be great. Also should i maybe since my boost will be limited run the N42 w/ a 1mm head gasket which will take my CR to 8.5:1 so i can get a little better low end power? and then let the 8PIS take over from there. will i still be able to use 87 octane gas?
  11. Ok so i was wondering. W/ my N42 i asked this guy the Z Doctor in ronoke VA about using the head even w/ the small cracks between the valves and he said it should be ok to run w/ a turbo because w/ it beeing so old and having gone through so many heat cycles it shouldn't get any worse! How does everyone else feel about this? Also he said that the P79 flows the same as the P90 but I must leave the liners in to keep the air flowing good? So after talking to him this seems to contradict everything i thought to be true! HELP!?!!?!
  12. Yeah i guess that really wouldn't work to well HUH??
  13. Here is a photo from my vacation this past fall to Edisto Island, SC. It is Old King's Highway. An old Sand road w/ Live oaks and Spanish moss it was very surreal
  14. Another idea kinda off topic but what about the N42 head and block w/ all stock internals but w/ L24 rods (9.85:1 CR)and a turbo running around 5-8psi. anyone done this w/ any success? Just an idea!?! Also how are P79's for a Turbo because those are a dime a dozen?
