  1. Brian crower makes a fully counterweighted crank that makes the engine rev happy while keeping it a 2.4l. The only list the stroker crank on there website, but if you contact them they can sell you a non-stroker version.
  2. http://www.z31performance.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6281&hilit=vq35de I know it's into a different platform but you may be able to get some info out of it. Just thought I'd throw it out at ya.
  3. I just started thinking. The s12's front suspension is based on the s130's, so maybe the crossmembers could swap. I just measured the width of my s12's crossmember and it was 24.5" from control arm bolt to control arm bolt(not entirely exact because it was dark and I was under the car). What's the width of a 280zx's crossmember? If they could swap, it would make for easy v6 and even 4 cylinder swaps into s130's(s12's came with vg and ca engines). Not to mention that it could go both ways and make for easy l6 swaps into s12's.
  4. Nice car you've got their. I recently purchased two 88 Turbos for the same price as yours. I got really lucky with these. Here's the first Z. It's a Shiro, my girlfriend bought it for me as a christmas present for $800. Interior is trashed and it needs new headgaskets. Here's the second. Barely runs, has mangled wiring and sensors. The previous owner just replaced the headgaskets, but as soon as I got it home, water started dripping down both sides of the block. The interior is in pretty good shape on this one. I bought it for $300 Sorry it's a dark pic. I'm parting out the black Z so if you need any parts send me an email at imnotstupid1490@hotmail.com Also your definitely going to need a radiator shroud if you want to drive in the summer. Especially if you want to use AC.
