  1. ahhh thread caught my eye. im about to go into a RB25DET swap into my new s13. then i might xfer the ka to my 240z.
  2. one piece drive shafts are available now you know.. mckinney motorsports. they even have the whole set up ready. mounts, dp's, exhaust, and intercooler. im gonna do either an SR or RB myself. been reading alot about it. it shouldnt be too hard of a swap. prepping is my biggest concern. not to hi jack the thread or anything. but would reinforcing the body be necessary for 250 - 300 hp on the Z? what about the shafts? and diff?
  3. well ka was one of the routes i wanted to take. and yes ka and sr share the same mounts. even the tranny member can be alternated. i used to own a 240sx. nothing had to be modified in the mounting spots at all. so if you have a tranny mount for an sr into a Z i dont see why it shouldnt work with your set up. but then i could be wrong. if you decide to do it post up some pics. or maybe ill beat you to it =) also heres another company http://www.mckinneymotorsports.com they make mounts for the Z
  4. well just to put it in perspective, if you get a " FREDDY" you gotta worry about casting imperfections. alot of people have complained that they bought the ebay Freddy brand and got some particles from the cast in their motor. same thing with their sr20 oil pans. 900 msrp isnt bad. you can get them discounted if you shop around. you only get what you pay for.
  5. nah its not more than 2k. if your interested pm me. youll be the only one with this.
  6. just for sh!ts and giglgles. i can actually get you a twin turbo manifold. Trust / Greddy made one back in the days and i can still get my hands on it. clearance might be an issue since we hare LHD. but i tell you now its not gonna be cheap.
