  4. On the To-do list is raising the exhaust for better clearance, in tank fuel pump and electric power steering..... but I’m kind of out of steam and motivation right now. so I spent some time on my other Motorsport passion... happy thanksgiving to the HybridZ community. Jim
  5. Exhaust is so tucked and clean. I’m going to alter my CX Y pipe to fit better. Lowest point on the car and I drag on small speed bumps. Very nice work. Jim

  7. Plenty of room..... sits lower than the straight Six. I have a strut tower bar triangulated and there is still plenty of room. Pics are somewhere in my build thread. HTH. JIM
  8. Hoke makes really nice stuff. I was going to be a beta tester for him but it took to long to come to market and I got impatient. I’ve been happy with the CXR choice.

  10. Got it.... the car is loud no matter what but not because of the mounts. Minimal sound deadening for a lighter car for me plus I like the exhaust note. I get some differential sounds from my solid mounts back there but that’s not part of the CXR stuff. Handling is great but my car has all adjustable LCA’s and camber plates..... may be a bit darty for some but turn in is great and very neutral steering that can be modulated with right foot. If I did it again I would use the new cross brace that ties in to TC area (forget the manufacturer name) then bolt in the CXR stuff on top of that. I run the car hard and have no regrets. Happy with my outcomes. Hope that helps. Jim

  12. Get a good baffled oil pan. Improved racing has an insert that works well. LS1 are kind of notorious for minimal oil pick up on a road course with a stock f body pan. Not sure about the cooler..... I don’t seem to have any problems. Hth. Jim
  13. My race Saturday..... not my best outing..... finished top 10 in a big field but I was beat a couple of tenths by some guys I’m usually faster than. Guess a little rusty from lack of seat time or they are just getting faster.... had a great day though
  14. No issues but I didn’t have a valence..... installed a xenon air dam. There are some pics on build log of the gen III V8 forum before I switched to 17’s.
  15. Lol. Can’t believe it all started here. Poor old girl just ran enough to get it on the trailer. Best form of therapy I’ve had in quite some time.
  16. I ran 16 x 8 +4 for quite awhile on a lowered car with 225 50 16. I had to roll the rear fenders but that was it. HTH. Jim
  17. Flares came from a guy with the tag of “Jendosa flares”. Fender welt helps to clean up the fit. They are nice and thick and have held up well to the occasional cone smashing at AutoX events.

  19. A shout out to all first responders and the selfless work they do to protect our communities. One fire out and more pop up raging on. We in far NorCal are getting weary but we will not yield.
  20. Tranny should fit but I believe you will need a shift pin relocation bracket. Check hoke performance. He makes some nice stuff.
