  1. Looking to join the 275 rear party next year under stock fenders. Ordered full T3 Evo suspension for the front and rear along with control arms, etc. Based what what the OP did a 17x9.5 +25 should be really close... may try to fit 16's. but based on the OP pics, might not be possible
  2. Hey guys, using a TILTON FCV valve on my clutch set up, and i need to know the type of treads from the output of the Clutch Master Cylinder and the input of the Clutch Slave Cylinder. Is it the same as the Honda treads? THANKS
  3. Well after problems persist with the my motronic 60-2 trigger system, I have decided to try using the distributor as the signal. 280zx Turbo 1981-1983 L28ET - Does anyone know how to wire it up. There's 4 wires coming from the distributor, Black, Green, Red, and White. I believe Red is power, Black is ground, and White is trigger signal, have no idea what the green one is for. Again these are all guesses, if anyone knows how to hook it up, please let me know, Thanks Also do i wire it to HOME or Trigger ? Or both since green and white wire might be signals?
  4. Believe they only come with a T25/T28 turbine flange, and wont work. Your gonna have to make a adapter.
  5. 13psi will work fine / it is also what the stock turbo is good for. After that your just blowing hot air. 13psi, and 22psi, is a 1WHP difference, lol BTW 13psi will yield about 245WHP:burnout:
  6. They are good for about 350WHP, after that problems begin. They start to stick, and the car will SOUND like its going out of tune, or if its getting too much fuel, misfires, etc. 350WHP depends on mileage, and abuse. If your looking for more than 350WHP go with solid.
  7. Download the 6 Series manual, and follow the directions. Pretty simple install. http://www.msdignition.com/1download.htm
  8. I have seen 25psi but it wont last past a few miles. 13psi max is best for the stock turbo. The ceramic wheels explode after 13 psi, but will vary on mileage too.
  9. LOL, its a 1.8 it cant spin those T4 easy, lol, but it sure can spin the GT35R looking for 650WHP soon
  10. The 275's look amazing. If you were looking to upgraded to .63 or .82 turbine you would see about 25WHP on the top end (on the .82), gain at the same PSI. But you will have to sacrifice about 800RPM of spool time, but worth it.
  11. I guess a port and polish is something i might look into. I saw on one of your post, that your running the Rebello dampener. What kind of price does it go for? Also what kind of turbo, and PSI you're currently running? Random question, but how did you fit such a wide rim (17x9 i believe) on your z, It looks pretty sick. Custom offset/suspension? sorry about all the questions
  12. I would go with a GT40, but i would need a nice twinscroll manifold for decent spool. The log manifold is crap, IMO. I bought the GT35R with the .82 a/r so ill get nice top end, and early spool. At what PSI? its hard to say, on my old set up it spiked to 35psi, and the engine didn't break a sweat, so am not worried about pressure. At 500WHP it will probably be around 20psi. My Integra Type R has a GT35R also and made 575WHP at 25psi. Everything is bought and just waiting to install, just waiting on some warm weather, or at least over 10 degrees C. lol:biggrin: BTW i see you have a L28ET running 417WHP, am guessing its stock. what kinda parts you got in it? Also what does it rev to?
  13. I personally have gotten 387WHP and 435WTQ (23psi) on a dynojet. The best I got was 385WHP, and 483WTQ, right after 4000RPM blew a headgasket (Fel-pro HG, i would have to say good for 400WHP, I have gone with a HKS HG now). That was with methanol injection and 25psi. Its blew due to fact it got a electrical problem, and it advanced the timing way to much . From the TQ it would have easily crossed 400WHP. Now I have gone with a totally different set-up, haltech E11v2, GT35R, 1000cc injectors, 44mm wastegate. Looking for 500WHP. BTW it hasn't been stock rebuild either, doesn't even smoke ( on 3 years of alot of power). What success have you had? Anyone else out there looking for 500WHP stock internal?
  14. If you want to save your engine don't use champion plugs. Stick with NGK NGK R5671A-8 for about up to 20psi NGK R5671A-9 for about 20psi + Heard of these being discontinued, but I haven't have a problem sourcing them BTW 6 is was too hot of a plug for turbo, if your running low boost still don't go below 7's
