PMed, wanting to see if there is a 4th of July deal.

Do you think they will have another sale for the Fourth of July? I'm getting a set but can hold out of will yield a better discount.

I can't get spark, I've verified wiring, continuity, 12v at the coils. The spark is random, making me thing the trigger signal is the cause. But I'm running shielded wiring, noise filtering and still no go. Does anyone know if there is a shop that specializes in megasquirt. I'm so frustrated at this point. I've been trying to get the car running for months. I even took it to a local shop that said they were "very familiar" with megasquirt only to pay 300 just for them to say they couldn't figure it out.

Ps. If someone lives close to the Huntsville Alabama area, I'll give you a hefty sum if you get it up and running.

Im beyond frustrated with trying to get my car started. I've done everything I can to try to get the car running, and nothing seems to work. Car ran fine on the MAF and OEM ECM, so timing is on the spot. I've been hitting the MSextra forums and I've got little help. Follow the link to catch up, I'll try anything at this point... Well, looking at the photos you might need the the other brackets. From my understanding the 260z has a different size trans tunnel which affects the type of bracket . Also, I used the planted brackets which are pretty good fitment to the body, however they need modification to the seat side. I would contact sparco for a refund and try the planted. Yes, the holes for the seat itself. I elongated them to let the seat slide toward the trans. It was time consuming, but the result ended in a good fit. Just make sure to take measurements

I had to re-drill the holes, then weld fill them to get it closer to the trans tunnel. I had to have a buddy push the seats in as tight as possible against the trans tunnel while I bolted them down, I added two washers to level it out. They were originally hitting the door, but now they barely touch it. Doesn't affect the car at all. I'll take some pics when I get home.

I got them in my 280z, but had to modify a set of planted seat brackets. And at 140 per bracket may not be the most practical solution. But I've had them in for about 6 months without issue. And keep in mind the 280 has a wider trans tunnel than the 240z

So after researching the injector sticky, it seems like it was a safe bet to buy some precision injectors from a guy who has a 7mgte. According to the sticker, they can be fitted to the l28 intake manifold. Here is the problem, the oring on the bottom that goes to the manifold I thought once removed they would fit. The injectors have a conical shape on the end where the oring was and is about 1mm to big to slide where the stock pintle fits. I'm getting frustrated and am needing to know if there's any way to make these work. I know I can get the pallnet for the feed at the top, but what about to the manifold. Can you redrill the manifold to make these fit? Any help appreciated Pics

I know it's possible, just a matter if someone knows the particulars. I've seen ls1 swaps with AC. I know the l28et can, and I've been meaning to put it back in mine

How about an exhaust crankcase evacuation system. If your not using it as a daily car this is t a bad idea if you don't want fumes In the bay, basically run the lines to a 45 degree port to the exhaust after the oxygen sensor. It runs a slight vacuum and it's proven for other cars. I'm setting this system up for mine.

Hey everyone. I have a 3.57 megasquirt 2 board and going to run the 12-1 optical disk. The information is there, I just don't know if I'm interpreting It correctly. I'm making mods and I think I'm going to run batch, 3 coil drivers tied in ,ford cop, same with injection, 2 injectors per trigger. So my mods should be : Hardware mods - V3.57 For a V3.57 , you'd have to remove a lot of parts to use the Hall / optical input, so we'll just bring this in through the VR conditioner instead. Place the JP1 jumper in the 1-2 position. Place the J1 jumper in the 5-6 position. Put a 1K resistor in the R57 slot Install the spark output of your choice. Thanks a bunch for the reply! That helps, I'm running 16x8 right now 0 offset and I had the run a 205 tire in order not to rub, I figured with the + 9 I should be able to run the appropriate tires. I'll call them and see if they had anyone run these on a s30.
