  2. Fellow Riley here. I don't see many people with my name much less spelled the correct way. We have to be the only Male Riley's driving LS swapped z cars right ? Anyways car looks soooo sick ! Is that 205 tire enough to hold LS power to the road ?
  3. I would be interested in selling mine. Just so I can jump into the Automatic world with both feet and get a 700R4 and maybe help jump start my turbo build. The trans is a T56 from a F-body its been in my s30 z car for a little over a year and a half or so.. The story goes ... I got this transmission out of a close friends totaled LS7 f-body. The LS7 in his car was actually a 441 and made around 875 on a 175 shot to the ground. The previous owner (to him) had the transmission "beefed up" ( I have no idea what they did to "beef it up" so take that for what its worth) I do know that he used this transmission at the drag strip on slicks and had zero issues. I have also had zero issues with the transmission. PM if your interesting. I'd include the bell housing , shifter , clutch , pressure plate , so on so on .

  5. Well Carbon Fiber G nose sounds insanely cool but WAY WAY WAY out of my price range. Feel free to shoot me a PM if and when you go to sell the G nose you have.

  7. I've seen the thread that tells you which bolts to buy .. I've email Austin who is suppose to sell the kits. But I never got a call back and am having hell finding 1/4" Nut Inserts for a realistic price. Please let me know what ya'll are doing for mount kits these days .. Thanks Guys !
  8. Nice ! I went a 1.8 60' in a completely stock 280z then put a ls in it and can't get below the 2.0 60' now. SMH .. too much power.
  9. I know that guy. He goes by "whiteboy" he also has a 3rd gen Nova thats beautiful. The datsun has been on the streets for years tho. I actually grew up watching that car at the street races dual bottles and all. The full tube has always been there but new paint and wheels really makes the car look brand new. Runs pretty good to ehh ?
  10. Howdy ya'll. I picked up a R200 LSD with a clutch type LSD in it from a 88 turbo I think.. Was curious if anyone has rebuilt their own diff. It would be even more convenient if you were to live in Austin. I'm not worried about the diff mounting or working on my car I'm confident there . Where I'm scared is taking the diff apart and putting it back together... Any tips tricks pointers ? I've looked but maybe I'm just horrible at searching the forum for info. Can't find anyone who rebuilt they're clutch type lsd... Thanks Z family.
  11. I'll sell you my 5.3 T56 swapped 280z . It's got springs and tokico 5 ways , 6 speed trans , A/c ! , just bought 15x10 bassett wheels that would go with it. I'd take 12k .. Oh and I'm in Texas.

  14. This is a great idea. If I had more time I'd be into throwing something like this together. I am with Seattle on the tire end of it tho. While i have a 8" wheel with a 195 tire it sure as hell doesn't look like a 195 tire.
  15. Damn thanks for the long tube swap header history. Had I known LT headers were a complete shit show I may have kept my mouth shut. And that's awesome I hope to do a 1/2 event next year. At the moment I've got the new motor being freshened up so I can put the bottle on it and start breaking axles lol. The new motor will be a 6.0 with the same old cam and ls1 intake. however I did see the new MSD intake and my my if she aint purdy .

  18. Howdy yall, As we all know the mid length header we all run from JCI limits the Ls power plant a bit. I myself would be fine with the power I'm making if I could just get that deep throatty noise long tube headers supply. So I've spoken with my fabricator who has 20+ Year experience and he would be willing to make a custom set of Long tube headers for the Z. I know there have been group buys in the past and I'm just testing the waters in regards to the amount of people wanting a long tube header for the LS Swapped S30. Obviously the more people we get to purchase these headers the better the price. We'd really like to get them under 1k but still provide hand made quality work. I can upload some of his work tomorrow when I get to the office. If you have any questions please let me know and I can ask him directly.
  19. Ok guys I blew my motor up .. So no mas 5.3 liter. When I took the motor out to swap it with the replacement 6.0 I realized the LS1 Swap kit I got from Johns Z cars that came with a "Aftermarket" passenger side motor mount. Well the passenger side motor mount that came with the kit has now broken . I'd like to replace it with something beefier to avoid having to replace it again. Has this happened to anyone else ? How did you repair the broken motor mount ? Any insight would be nice.
  20. I'm so jealous I can't drive my Z right now. Worst news is that I can't figure out if I have a exhaust leak or lifter tap .. ughhhh this hobby is more like a profession that doesn't pay but in smiles.
  21. I'd love some 243's if I can find them. Just trying my best not to deal with the usual LS1tech member.. that always seems to be a ass beat. I've got a 5.3 with a cam and ls1 intake manifold. Found some 241's local but not sure how they will do on my stock bottom end 5.3 as far as compression goes.

  25. I know yall have most likely been over this and I'm just going to clear the air and let ya'll know I searched but my forum searching skills are pathetic. Here's the issue. I have a 76 280z my hazards blink fine on all four corners but my turn signals won't work. I even paid a 100 bucks for a new turn signal switch mechanism for the steering wheel and it didn't fix my problem. Again the hazards work fine tho. Please let me know what yall think (:
