  1. "Car is still for sale contact me at tombarace14@yahoo.com I don't frequent the forum much as I just had a baby."

  3. Dude ... What happened to the pic of the welds?
  4. Truer words have never been spoken(so to speak) .... I doubt it was even a lawyer that called, probably somebody posing as one. This guy knew exactly what he was doing.

  6. Where in NC are you? I'm in Fayetteville, we should talk.
  7. I wish there were spots near me that were cable of this kind of work. Not that I would do this, but the quality of the work I've seen in that shop is great (checked out and liked the facebook page). Heck, when it's time, I might just have to send mine out there!
  8. http://www.technoversions.com/DiffMountHome.html Dunno if you knew they were available there or if you're specifically looking for a used one from a member.
  9. Haha ... Some people's kids

  13. Bought the scoop here; http://www.racecomposites.com/ss.htm Then had a body shop cut the hood and mold it on. Fiberglass to steel = no bueno. Only lasted about a year before the outside of the scoop started showing some shadowing where it was attached to the steel hood. Too many hot/cold cycles at different rates caused it. If you want to do something like this I would HIGHLY recommend starting out with a fiberglass hood. Once that hood started showing those signs of shadowing, I sent the hood off to have a mold made for a true single piece carbon fiber hood. That was in like December 2002 ish and I'm still waiting for it to be completed. The last pics I got of the project (in the not too distant past) looked great and it's still in the works, albeit a little slow, but I'm still holding on to hope The original was sold on ebay, never to be seen again within the first six months or so of me sending it off. Sorry this was late, I stopped getting notifications on threads I've commented on for some reason, BUT I see that you figured something out. Maybe this will help somebody else in the future.
