I guess my first question is: What ratio is the carrier break for the R200?
My dad has a 3.36 from a 280Z 2+2 non(?)-turbo to go into his 260Z with 5.3 LS swap. However, it's an open diff.
I found a 300ZX non-turbo (Z32?) viscous LSD rear for a good price.
Will the 4.08 viscous LSD carrier work with the 3.36 gears, or are they on opposite sides of the carrier break?
*IS* there a carrier break? There isn't in BMW 210mm units, which I find weird as the factory ratios go from 2.65 to 3.91... That's a lot of extra steel in the 3.91 ring gear...
Will the 3.36 output flanges fit the viscous carrier?
