280z/280zx body parts compatiblility

I have A 76 280z and i know of a guy in town that is selling a couple of 280zx parts, Specificly i was loking at the xenon front valence. And i know that changed the car drasticly between these two models but does anyone know if the front valence is compatible or not. And im not asking if you can google if the part description says it fits, i want to know if anyone has ever tried.
