  3. I'm looking for a '75-early '76 FI fuel tank for my 1973 240Z turbo project. PM me or email me at ...... josephcchristen@gmail.com Thanks, Joe
  4. Looking for a Non egr N42 Intake. PM or email me at josephcchristen@gmail.com Thanks!
  5. Great , thanks foe the confirmation
  6. I understand the the April '87-89 Turbo diff's were the 3.70 clsd's. Is there any difference between the 5spd and automatic cars?
  7. I would love a copy as well. lahieres@patmedia.net Thanks Joe
  8. I've searched but have not been able to find a difinitive answer to this question. I have a 240mm fidanza flywheel and act full face clutch/PP which I plan on using with my zx 5spd. Which clutch fork, t/o bearing and slave cylinder combo should i use? I understand that some combinations do not provide enough throw to completely disengage the clutch.
  9. I think I answered my own question. The injectors which I have are D-Jet while my harness is L-jet. I just ordered some D-jet plugs from SDS and I'm ready to go. Clifton, any idea where I could find the 0280150041 injectors? I asked my parts guy who got me my other Bosch injectors and he had no listing for them. Do you know what model/year they came on ? Was it an MB?
  10. I have searched but have found no answer to this question. I have a set of Bosch mercedes injectors (280150036). These injectors are turquoise where the plug from the harness connects. The stock Bosch harness is simular but will not fit these injectors. I was led to believe that these injectors would be direct drop in fit. Do I have the wrong version/year injector or do I just need to splice in new plugs to my SDS harness. Where can I find new connectors to fit? Thanks Joe
  11. What's this ? http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=11044-91MM2&Category_Code=s30_nismo_headgasketL28
  12. Yeah, I think the HKS ones will work just fine.
  13. I looked on HKS's website and saw no listings for Nissan gaskets. I'm looking for a 2mm to go with my 87mm pistons. Do they still make these? If so, who sells them? Are the MSA 1mm& 2mm gaskets HKS products?
  14. Great Vid! This gives me great hope for my motor build. Check out my thread, any advice would be appreciated. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=108678
  15. I was thinking a T3/TO4E for the turbo.
  16. The bottom end of my turbo motor is currently being torn down and evaluated by the person who will be doing the machine work and assembly. Depending on what he finds, I was planning on doing a stock rebuild with the addition of forged pistons, leaving the CR close to stock. My RWHP goal is in the 300-350 range. It was suggested to me that another option would be swapping out the 280xzt rods and replacing them with 9mm 240z rods and forged pistons which Dave at AZC sells. I believe that this would in effect up the CR to approx. 8.4-1 to 8.5-1. I was told that this would make the motor less of a dog off-boost and would be able to reach my HP goals using less boost. I plan on using my SDS to control everything. My question is this: does it make more sense to go with the Stock CR which would leave a larger margin of error when tuning etc. or is it over conservative considering the superiority of todays stand-alone (SDS) EFI systems? All opinions welcome! Thanks Joe
  17. Do you have a pic of the underside of the intake? Thanks
  18. I bought the same kit at JDM Werks and got the same result. The ride height in the rear was fine, the front dropped close to 2'' and now the car rides on the bump-stops. I gave up trying to return the springs and ordered springs from Dave at az z car. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Joe
  19. I'm not sure what my next move will be. At this point the car is not fun to drive. I did get the springs/struts (HP's) from JDMwerks. I used the energy Suspension Master kit and I did cut the bumpstops. I'm aware of the Arizona Z springs, seems that the feedback is all positve. I was also considering Suspension Techniques springs but I'm worried that I'll end up in the same spot I'm in now. Joe
  20. Just spent the better part of a week and a half doing struts, springs, sway bars and bushings on my Z. When I get the car back on the ground the front ride height is way low. The front Tokico springs are almost completely compressed. I thought that both front and rear Tokico springs were linear. So I call tokico's tech dept. and send them a pic of the front springs at rest. They return my call after receiving my email and tell me that the front springs are progressive and the rears are linear!??? He states that the progressive rate springs bunch-up more thats why they look like they do. The Tech person was very nice and did return my calls promptly but a think that their springs for this application are crap. Has anyone else had this same problem? I knew that I should of done coilovers! IMG_1635.JPG Joe
  21. I am replacing the timing components on my L28et after redoing my P90 head. Does anyone have experience with the aftermarket timing sets which are sold on ebay and elsewhere? Just wondering what the quality is like compared to Nissan parts. Joe
  22. The more I think about it, the more I think i'm going to bag the stock T3.
