  1. Series 1, unmolested and in good condition will always demand more than later cars. Of course the low production JDM models (ZG, 432, 432R) trump most everything else.
  2. Probably kept vapor locking on set until someone took a sawzaw to the hood and got creative with the mesh
  3. My mistake, you've produced more Z goodies than I can keep track of it seems!
  4. I recommend looking at OEM switch panels and trim, how they are mounted and design the console with matching provisions. Nissan produces a nice pushbutton for the GTR, Altima and 370Z models with a few different bezels. If you used one of these bezels (I'd recommend the 370's), you could use either switch (red or orange). Switch panels out of something relatively easy to find in a junkyard would offer quality hardware, consistent replacements and easy sourcing. Plenty of armrest donors could apply to this concept as well. The armrest in my STI is available in a variety of materials and styles depending on trim level, but is consistent across the board in regards to mounting... I even have a spare I could send you. Nothing comes to mind in regards to a cup holder, aside from pre-formed RV/Marine mount anywhere plastic cup holders. These have shallow options sized to hold a standard 12oz can securely. Any plans to sell these, or is this a one time project?
  5. Yep. Mark Clapp has a post about replacement quarter windows, but he also reproduces other bits (including headlight covers). I'm not sure if he's still producing them, but I believe David Palermo (1tuffz) was producing the trim a while back...
  6. Those door panels... The clamshell... The sound of life from the motor!
  7. Dangling wires might get annoying, though a plug for a radar detector might be unobtrusive if mounted high on the windshield.
  8. Map lights, Fog lights, Nitrous arm switch, Nitrous purge, Methanol/Alcohol injection arm switch... Any pictures? Link? Sounds interesting.
  9. Just looks naked missing all the hardware. Put it all together and it will look fine!
  10. This! ...or just pop the hood and look for turbos!
  11. Painted vents look terrible, and seems very 'organic' when placed against the backdrop of a stock Z interior... No denying it looks well done, and provides some nifty mounting points for the extra gizmos. Maybe the red just ruins it for me?
  12. No explanation for the nearly week long outage, but I'm glad to report the forum is back up. Anyone interested in the LD engines for reasons other than just the crank, should have a look. The stroker crowd is not very welcome however...
  13. Unfortunately that only let's me visit the builds... Getting in touch with someone selling the parts I need? Not so much. Thanks though. I will use the way back if it never comes back to life.
  14. Been trying to get onto NissanDiesel.dyndns.org for a few days now, but it looks like the site is down. I was shopping for some LD parts (not the crankshaft) and enjoying some build threads over there... Seemed like a lot of good information and people. Anybody know what's going on? Hate to see a forum dissappear, especially when I only just started digging into the archives!
  15. Very nice! Is this supposed to replace a factory panel (such as the fuse cover), or is it simply a universal design? I imagine customized layout fuse panel covers would be pretty popular here... Just sayin!
  16. Time to change the signature! Congratulations on the purchase, I hope to join the Skyline owners circle myself someday.
  17. Ignore the patches of foam, they are the remnants of a failed restoration...
  18. I don't think that's what he's talking about. I'll post a photo of the sun visor 'skeleton' tomorrow sometime... Have to dig it out of storage.
  19. No problem, finding a 3/8 NPT to barb fitting that looks nice should be simple. Plenty of suppliers, materials and finishes to choose from... should look nearly factory.
  20. http://www.bellengineering.net/product_info.php?cPath=6_41_297&products_id=674 Never used them, but this looks like it might work for you.
  21. Asking $25 + shipping/PayPal. I can probably provide bolts as well, incase you need them.
  22. Should have mentioned you needed one before I shipped the lowering springs to you! I'll dig it out of storage tonight and snap some photos...
  23. You've got a PM with tracking info. Thanks much!
