  1. the only reason to swap to an RB26 is so you can work on your engine easier. the VG will make just as much hp and tons more torque.
  2. if you dont mind me asking how much was the HR equipment?
  3. well you can get more AC by going faster lol. do all those upgrades man and have fun!
  4. My Z32 gets 24.5 mpg going 75-80 mph and with my 4.08 rear end my revs are more than halfway through the rev range. if you play with the rear end im sure you can get over 30, then with SAFC-II fiddling you could get 35 maybe. and thats not even sorting out the aero on the 240z. you should try and get more power out of your Z. a front mount turbo sounds like a good idea for your Z. so you could burnout at 80mph haha.
  5. the reason the car gets such great gas mileage is because the car is so ugly the air moves out of it's way to avoid it.
  6. how much does the VQ35DE with the Transmission installed weigh vs VG30DE with Transmission?
  7. What about the VQ35HR in the Z32 with the Z33 Transmission? would that fit? just the VQ35DE isnt really worth the swap. the stock VG puts put 180whp and the VQ puts out 220-230whp. the VQ35HR or VQ37VHR would be better swaps seeing as they put out 255whp and 280whp. all motor stock. and with a dual intake, high flow cats, catback and a reflash the HR's put out over 300whp and the VHR's put out over 320whp.
