  3. I'm looking for a L28et Harness w/ Z31 ecu conversion which would include: Harness, z31 turbo ecu, maf, & wheel. I would prefer it to be pulled from a running car. If no one can offer me the entire setup, I will start hunting for parts of the setup.

  14. Where are all the Zs at??? I'm having a hard time finding Z's in the Junkyard. If anyone is interested, i found a Toyota Celica, the old school fast back looking ones. It still has everybody part and some of its engine. Its at Ecology in santa fe springs,ca
  15. So i just finished assembling my l28 and started it. the motor sounded like it was misfiring so i checked the orientation of the oil shaft. The big side was pointing towards the front at TDC, so i dropped the pump and made it so that the small side was facing the front at roughly 11:25 orientation. I reassembled everything and the dizzy rotor was pointing towards the front, but the rotor was pointing between the L headlight and coolant hose. The #1 on the cap was ahead of the the rotor (clockwise of it) about one centimeter. I went to go start it, and all i heard was two loud knocks. This is MOST likely a IGNITION timing issue, i have double-triple-checked everything. Possibilities: If i didn't prime the oil pump prior to reassembly, would it cause this to happen? Is my timing still off?
  16. i have an l28et, 81 in my 77. it recently got a wire tuck. when i went to fire it up, it idled fine but, the AFR read 10. 10! HELP! my question is, if i accidently switched the wires on the tps (flipflop), will it cause the car to run THIS rich?

HELP! here are the answers to some of the questions you might have: it idles smooth around 800. timing is at 21. all the sensors have been tested or is new. my question is, if i accidently switched the wires on the tps (flipflop), will it cause the car to run THIS rich?
