  1. Not much, I wish I could provide some! I started college on the 29th of last month, moved 5 hours away and don't have a place for the Z up here. Its still sitting in my garage back home waiting for me to bring it up here. But it's going off next week to begin rust repair and have the fuel cell put in and lines plumbed. Hopefully by the time that is done ill have a spot for it and be able to work on it some more. Just stock piling parts currently. But as soon as I get it first thing I want to do is get all the wiring done.
  2. Okay. Do you have pictures of how you did this? I have a colored wiring diagram which has them labeled c1-c11, do the connectors say which one they are on them? Truthfully I didnt look at them that hard when removing Ill be using the stock 1j ecu with a harness from wiring specialties
  3. When I removed the engine harness I noticed that it seems the body harness no long has a source for power? Its possible that it still does but I have no idea where it would come from lol. Any advice would be helpful
  4. Update: Haven't done shit besides get rid of wires and order a few parts. When deleting the stock distributor wiring and the coil wiring do I just trace them back and remove correct?
  5. No pictures yet. Motor came back out last week to the timing belt, water pump, and a few other things thrown on it before the wiring harness arrives. Should have it going back in this weekend and test fitting the Shifter from Hoke performance to make sure it'll fit. Ill take some pictures this weekend and throw them up. Also, I need to buy a fuel pump, any recommendations?
  6. Have the full kit besides the downpipe. Turbo has no shaft play. Never ran it as it was on my car when I pulled the motor
  7. I'm using an OEM one currently. Got it with very low miles. I know it has to be a single plate and that they have a few options on their website
  8. Thanks! Ill probably be using the one Hoke makes http://hokeperformance.squarespace.com/store/vq-swap-shifter-mount Hopefully it'll fit.
  9. Motors sitting in car, removed the power steering and A/C, replaced water pump and threw the starter on. Just waiting on my wiring harness from wiring specilaties and ill be ready to fire it up. Ill get pictures this weekend. I was wondering what you guys running the 370/350z transmission are doing for a clutch master cylinder and the line running up to it? Thanks
  10. my 72' parts car has one if you want it $5?
  11. I have the trans and motor mounted together. Haven't got it in the car yet, will throw up a picture tomorrow In all reality unless you get the Z trans for really cheap an R154 might be the cheaper way to go.
  12. Could you take a picture of it? I'd like to know how far I need to get mine shortened lol. Collions adapters offers a shortening service for the shifter bracket I think its like 110$? Also I was wondering what you guys who are running the 370z/350z transmissions are doing for clutch master cylinders?
  13. I'm using the trans out of a 09 370z as well. I've yet to even mock up my engine and trans yet though, let me know how far you had/have to shorten the Shifter as it looks like it'll need to be shortened a few inches Your builds coming along really nicely! I wish you the best of luck!
  14. Ah okay i'm parting out a 240z right now, if you want the one strut I can get it to you.
  15. What year? I've noticed that the 240z hatch only has one strut while my 280z has two
