No, there were no tabs on the backside. The strips seem to be plastic welded in place so I left them alone for now.

I just ordered a set of the chrome and fake wood door panel trim pieces and wondered if anyone has replaced theirs before. I'm wondering what the best process is for removing the old trim and installing the new. Here's the pieces I ordered. Thanks!
